Because Kellerkind's “Disco on the Dancefloor” remains to this day a huge milestone in Sirion Records discography and the original track is still 10 years later an absolute earworm.

Dedication, constant focus on music, care and respect for others, are attributes that continue to apply to Kellerkind and have moved us to a remake of this infamous title. 

As the title of the main track says, “Disco on the Dancefloor” with its groovy basses, poignant disco stabs is ideal for the dancefloor and still perfectly suited to inspire the masses. 

But Kellerkind doesn’t rest on the guaranteed success of the past, he immediately delivers a thriving remake that perfectly reflects his current musical taste. Percussive, hypnotic and an all-around successful job to dress the track in a new garb.

Fittingly, there are two remixes by 8 Bit labelhead Gorge and Bernese producer Youen, among others.
A housy framework paired with percussion, discoid bass line and the hypnotic synth surface in the usual Gorge manner, not only gets the legs bobbing and the head nodding, but animates to conquer the dance floor.
Youen's techhousy remix puts the focus more on kick and clap and therefore comes as a true stomper. Peppered with the discreetly used samples, this makes for a wonderfully danceable mix for peak time.

10 Years of “Disco on the Dancefloor” is therefore more current than ever and an absolute must in the record bag, either on vinyl or digitally.

Having already appeared on Flying Circus Recordings with a killer collaboration with Maga back in 2019,
DJ & producer Nhii goes on a solo venture with his new single ‘Closer’ featuring Shrii. Remixes are
provided by Yulia Niko and Rony Seikaly, and the package is sealed off with another sweet production
from the Brookyln based German artist.
In its original mix, ‘Closer’ is a pulsing and peppy slice of mystical and engrossing dance music, lightly
dipped in reverb, and featuring a infectious vocal performance from Shrii, all delivered with the
sophistication and elegance one would expect for a Flying Circus release.
Mannheim based Yulia Niko supplies the first of the remixes of ‘Closer’. The rising DJ/producer has hugely
impressed via releases on esteemed labels like Watergate, 8Bit, Rebellion and Get Physical, and on her
remix deploys a effervescent acid line and dubby chords whilst chopping up and twisting Shrii’s vocal for a
pure transcendental workout.
Lebanese/US producer Rony Seikaly turns in the second remix on this bustling EP. Fueled by an early love
of US house music, Seikaly has gone on to forge a sound and style that has graced labels like Moon Harbour,
Voltaire Music as well as his own Stride imprint. His deep and seductive remix really works a treat here.
Closing the EP, Nhii pops in a second original production with ‘White Box’. Melodic synths bounce off a
mechanical yet funky rhythm, soft kicks and deft percussion propel this hypnotizing and graceful track, and
if a fitting finale to a stand out release on Audiofly’s established label.

On remix duty we have the one and only Emanuel Satie, known from recent releases on imprints like Cocoon Recordings, Get Physical, Crosstown Rebels, Mobilee, Scenarios,  … and now Emanuel can add Ontourage Music to his label portfolio!
The German melodic wizard  immediately fell in love with the chords of the original track & was honored when Nico asked him to become musical godfather of Stella! He turned the track upside down by giving the main drive a different swing and by adding this massive Korg M1 synth! Gold! 

To complete the package, we added “Fish Trip” to this EP. Ingredients: Casio CZ, Juno 106, Yamaha DX7, … plus somebody explaining how a worm can swallow a fish. ;-) Let's say this person had a ‘good trip’. Also for this track we found the perfect remixer: Vhyce!

Such a title demands for big emotions, big synths, big breaks, and naturally Dominik brings them all! With his trademark sense for stripped-down on-the-nose drum patterns paired with in-your-face bass riffs and laser-focused sample usage he makes sure to bring any dancefloor to that rolling boiling Marz level. You know, that collective state of consciousness where nobody really knows when it actually began and everybody hopes for it never to stop with the perpetual urge to raise your hands and scream some undefined sounds of joy.
