A collection of original music inspired by our unexpected, raging SOI *not the sauce parties on our beloved Island. Tracks from our crew and our friends created at The Moni Studio in Moni Club - Mykonos.

We're about capturing the true essence and history of The Island, as well as the dancefloor culture that initially brought us here. We decided to kick start
the project with a collection of dancefloor favorites
from our 2021 post-pandemic season.
A variety of flavors of electronic music with our own, Cycladic touch.
On our first release we welcome Aera with an emotional melodic beauty. The record’s been having heavy spins from melodic powerhouses coming out of the pandemic.

Soi: noun - a term to refer casually to one's family, relatives, clan and kin.

PREMIERE : Hardt Antoine - Unfaithful (Original Mix)[Anemos Dance]

Having already appeared on Flying Circus Recordings with a killer collaboration with Maga back in 2019,
DJ & producer Nhii goes on a solo venture with his new single ‘Closer’ featuring Shrii. Remixes are
provided by Yulia Niko and Rony Seikaly, and the package is sealed off with another sweet production
from the Brookyln based German artist.
In its original mix, ‘Closer’ is a pulsing and peppy slice of mystical and engrossing dance music, lightly
dipped in reverb, and featuring a infectious vocal performance from Shrii, all delivered with the
sophistication and elegance one would expect for a Flying Circus release.
Mannheim based Yulia Niko supplies the first of the remixes of ‘Closer’. The rising DJ/producer has hugely
impressed via releases on esteemed labels like Watergate, 8Bit, Rebellion and Get Physical, and on her
remix deploys a effervescent acid line and dubby chords whilst chopping up and twisting Shrii’s vocal for a
pure transcendental workout.
Lebanese/US producer Rony Seikaly turns in the second remix on this bustling EP. Fueled by an early love
of US house music, Seikaly has gone on to forge a sound and style that has graced labels like Moon Harbour,
Voltaire Music as well as his own Stride imprint. His deep and seductive remix really works a treat here.
Closing the EP, Nhii pops in a second original production with ‘White Box’. Melodic synths bounce off a
mechanical yet funky rhythm, soft kicks and deft percussion propel this hypnotizing and graceful track, and
if a fitting finale to a stand out release on Audiofly’s established label.
“Closer” feat. Shrii by Nhii is released on Audiofly’s Flying Circus Recordings imprint from 16th
September 2022.

The sound was spreading through the body, naturally causing headshakes and goosebumps. It all came down to an instinctive feeling of the world encapsulated in a cosy room. There was a mystery here, the one the comparison with which the previous adventures couldn't stay. Amongst many dimensions, the current one had a particular elusive magnetism. The charm of the home studio reflected punctuality and a love for music. Improvised delights called out kindred spirits, guiding them to the moment of mutual dissolution and self-adjustment.

Exclusive: Alan Dixon - Edge Of Forever (Prins Thomas Diskomiks ft. Bugge Wesseltoft)

After its annual summer break Correspodant around label-head Jennifer Cardini is back and starts the new season with a four tracker from Alan Dixon. His Edge of Forever EP comes with three originals and a Diskomiks from the maestro of the genre Prins Thomas ft. Bugge Wesseltoft for the title track. The rework from Thomas M. Hermansen, Prins Thomas' real name, and pianist Bugge Wesseltoft is a groovey homage to summer season, to a better time, to hope and freedom, to music and the joy and the lust of life it evokes in people. Dramatically perfectly arranged the Diskomiks comes with a crunchy housey beat which is shortly enriched with a funky bass line melody that, in the course of the track, sets the base for the piano. The latter holds several tonal arrays switching between lower and higher ranges that are stretched over 10 minutes and 20 seconds. But those are a dramatically and musically a symphony over several octaves, split in multiple chapters and held together by the combined genius of these two artists. 

Alan Dixon's EP Edge of Forever will be released on Correspondant on September 25th, 2020.
