'Argentinian producer Ric Niels makes his debut on Hicky & Kalo's label Plaisirs Sonores Records with his beautiful track 'Walking In The Woods'. The song is a mix of ethereal synths, groovy bassline and tasty drums. The glorious vocals of Hydrah add a sumptuous aura to the music.

First on remix duty, we found Dmitry Molosh. The Belarusian DJ and producer is famous for his inimitable progressive sound and excellent taste in music. Dmitry represents his country far beyond its borders as one of the most forward-thinking electronic music artists in the world. Here, he created a huge progressive piece filled with trancy melodies and one of the most epic drop we heard in a long time.

Also rising out of Argentina's electronic underground are the elusive duo Analog Jungs. Made up of Claudio Cornejo and Gustavo Ruarte, Analog Jungs was born out of a love for rhythm, groove and melody. The duo is back on the label after their successful release of 'Landscape' with Oliver & Tom last year.

To close out the package, there's an instrumental version of 'Walking In The Woods' for the DJs uneasy with vocals.

Hicky & Kalo say: 'Super happy to welcome Ric Niels on our label. We are fan of his music, we played many of his tracks over the last few years. Having already appeared on Flying Circus Recordings with a killer collaboration with Maga back in 2019,
DJ & producer Nhii goes on a solo venture with his new single ‘Closer’ featuring Shrii. Remixes are
provided by Yulia Niko and Rony Seikaly, and the package is sealed off with another sweet production
from the Brookyln based German artist.
In its original mix, ‘Closer’ is a pulsing and peppy slice of mystical and engrossing dance music, lightly
dipped in reverb, and featuring a infectious vocal performance from Shrii, all delivered with the
sophistication and elegance one would expect for a Flying Circus release.
Mannheim based Yulia Niko supplies the first of the remixes of ‘Closer’. The rising DJ/producer has hugely
impressed via releases on esteemed labels like Watergate, 8Bit, Rebellion and Get Physical, and on her
remix deploys a effervescent acid line and dubby chords whilst chopping up and twisting Shrii’s vocal for a
pure transcendental workout.
Lebanese/US producer Rony Seikaly turns in the second remix on this bustling EP. Fueled by an early love
of US house music, Seikaly has gone on to forge a sound and style that has graced labels like Moon Harbour,
Voltaire Music as well as his own Stride imprint. His deep and seductive remix really works a treat here.
Closing the EP, Nhii pops in a second original production with ‘White Box’. Melodic synths bounce off a
mechanical yet funky rhythm, soft kicks and deft percussion propel this hypnotizing and graceful track, and
if a fitting finale to a stand out release on Audiofly’s established label.

September 2022.

As we close out a sensational summer for the When We Dip imprints, we are thrilled to welcome back one of our hometown's most invigorating artists - Montreal’s Sinca. Following her recent remix for Koelle, she's back on the label with a pair of original productions on the Another Way EP. With plaudits-a-plenty already on hand from an amazing single with Anjunadeep, Sinca has been rocking dance-floors around the globe all summer long. To polish off the season, XYZ is proud to present two deftly-crafted dance-floor weapons from Sinca.

On the A-side, Sinca summarizes her knack for effervescent club-leaning tunes that provide genuine warmth for worldwide dancers. Dede sets us in motion with playful vocal chops harking back to the golden days of groove. Electro-tinged chords harness a sound brimming with big room flavor, yet balanced sumptuously with deeply heady tones.

On the flip, Sinca connects with Montreal-based vocalist Toorak Green on an indie-house burner Another Way. A delightful hook snaps us into lock step, while Toorak's vocals allow the minds to wander; a bountiful B-side brimming with instant-classic appeal.
