Miami-based producer and DJ, baez, who was raised in the Dominican Republic, presents his very own mixture: smooth, deep and incredibly delicious! The modern era of music has given us enigmas and artists of all shapes and forms who break the norm in unexpected ways. baez is one such artist who epitomizes the essence of the times. baez is creating music that pushes the envelope, igniting emotions and musical nuances that stretch the human imagination to its very limit.

Born Jason Baez, his love for collecting electronic music quickly turned into more than just a passion and became a full-on career. He was named Miami's Best DJ in 2013 by Miami New Times, which characterized him as “the hardest-working DJ in Miami.” baez also held a residency at the legendary venue, The Electric Pickle, served as a former partner in NYC-based promoter and talent agency, Bespoke Musik, and currently hosts his Fordel podcast series on Frisky Radio. 

baez has played in many countries around the world and has shared the DJ booth with some of the biggest names in the industry, such as Bedouin, Maceo Plex, Damian Lazarus, DJ Tennis, and Jamie Jones, just to name a few. He has also made waves with releases under major labels such as Nie Wieder Schlafen, Magician on Duty, Constant Circles, and LNDKHN. His remix of Urmet K & The Lazarusman’s “The Meeting,” released with Magician on Duty, peaked at #8 on Beatport’s Top 100 Deep House Chart, received a lot of plaudits from industry experts, and garnered widespread support from top DJs.

In 2020, he co-founded the record label Minds Alike with Samihe. They are cultivating a community of like-minded artists who share a similar acoustic expression within the electronic music space. The label is already gaining traction, with multiple releases all charting on Beatport’s Top 100.

His overarching ambition is to provoke thought in the minds of his listeners; baez asks the audience to take a breath, get lost in the music, and just enjoy the moment.

After the great KOBOI EP and the internationally acclaimed song and videoclip It's Happening,  the transmedia artist KnoR is presenting his new project entitled “Don’t Go”. The 3 tracks music release features a music video and a mobile app. As a modern storyteller, KnoR reaches from pop music to virtual reality (VR) to spread a message of freedom. No less.

KnoR's new EP “Don’t Go” is composed of two original tracks and a remix by Canson. The title track Don't Go is a rich and surprising song: as the beat brings the listener back to the club, the lyrics are floating on a warm bass melody surrounded by a soundscape of rhythms with a very natural feel.

The message of the song is intensified in the music video realised with Berlin based filmmaker Xaver Xylophon. The movie invites the audience to step back and think. Walking through his life, KnoR questions his relationship to this place we call home: a place with borders and a nawhere we are too easily fooled.

The cornerstone of the release is the VR application developed with the computational artist Mativa and the Geneva based interactive studio apelab. “Don’t Go” becomes a virtual refuge where the user can immerse in an experience of total perception to forget his fears and the influence of daily media propaganda.

The French Live duo https://soundcloud.com/pandhora has captured our attention with their smooth deep productions on the melodic tastemaker label Art Vibes as well as remixes on Souq, Underyourskin, Wayu & Pipe & Pochet. This podcast is an hybrid set with live guitars and synths bringing the music to a unique new level.

Pandhora is the artistic and human symbiosis of two musicians metamorphosed into producers who wish to bring sounds that occupied their thoughts back alive. Their music is an open sky laboratory where experimentation is the keyword.

Syncopated rhythms and psychedelic melodies mix with powerful techno’s bass while strengthening by throbbing guitar riffs inspired by 70’s progressive and psychedelic music. Their productions claim to give to the audience an alternative to nowadays electronic dance music by introducing shape and lyricism to it.

With Pandhora, we are travelling through time with a delighted elegance. They are always seeking for new sonorities and often invite other musicians to join them, whether they are vocalists or instrumentalists so they can create an original universe for each of their productions. Their latest EP «Divagations Cosmiques» released on french label Cepage Music is putting under the spotlights the jazzy voice of Lakmé, the former singer of Orme, a Neo-soul band from Marseille. Their new live act called «Deep Psychedelia» is a genuine condensed of all their experimentations.
