The French Live duo https://soundcloud.com/pandhora has captured our attention with their smooth deep productions on the melodic tastemaker label Art Vibes as well as remixes on Souq, Underyourskin, Wayu & Pipe & Pochet. This podcast is an hybrid set with live guitars and synths bringing the music to a unique new level.

Pandhora is the artistic and human symbiosis of two musicians metamorphosed into producers who wish to bring sounds that occupied their thoughts back alive. Their music is an open sky laboratory where experimentation is the keyword.

Syncopated rhythms and psychedelic melodies mix with powerful techno’s bass while strengthening by throbbing guitar riffs inspired by 70’s progressive and psychedelic music. Their productions claim to give to the audience an alternative to nowadays electronic dance music by introducing shape and lyricism to it.

With Pandhora, we are travelling through time with a delighted elegance. They are always seeking for new sonorities and often invite other musicians to join them, whether they are vocalists or instrumentalists so they can create an original universe for each of their productions. Their latest EP «Divagations Cosmiques» released on french label Cepage Music is putting under the spotlights the jazzy voice of Lakmé, the former singer of Orme, a Neo-soul band from Marseille. Their new live act called «Deep Psychedelia» is a genuine condensed of all their experimentations.

Podcasts some artists send are much anticipated and significant for us as we know those people in person, have gone a long way with them, living unbelievable days and nights full of music and conversations and drinks. Those people have entrusted us with the parts of themselves they left in Armenia, while the mixes they make are soundtracks to those particles. @jacobgroening and several other artists were the first to give us the feeling which drives us to create to this day, with the belief that everything we do and are involved in is meaningful and not in vain. And we hope you get a bit of the same feeling while listening to the mix. Enjoy.

Die Magie 432

Der Frequenz 432 Hz wird in der menschlichen Kultur- und Musikgeschichte eine wichtige Bedeutung zugesprochen. Historische Musikinstrumente und Klangerzeuger wurden traditionell auf diese Frequenz gestimmt und das mit gutem Grund. Der 432 Hz wird nach gesagt, die harmonischste Frequenz des Spektrums zu sein. Viele Wissenschaftler aus unterschiedlichsten Disziplinen erforschten intensiv die Beziehung dieser Frequenz zum Menschen und zur Natur. Es wurde nachgewiesen, dass Töne dieses Frequenzbereiches quasi eine symbiotisch Verbindung mit dem Menschen eingehen. Dies lässt sich dadurch erklären, dass viele Körperfunktionen auf die 8, 16, 32, 64, 128 Hz geeicht sind und damit genauso Schwingen wie der historische Kammerton a‘, die 432 Hz. Beispielsweise schwingt unser Organ für den Gleichgewichtssinn, genau auf dieser Wellenlänge. Ebenso singen viele Vögel ihre Lieder auf eben dieser Frequenz. 
Die 432 ist natürlich im Menschen verankert. Entsprechend ist die Resonanz auf diese Frequenz hoch. Musik in dieser Stimmung, wirkt zugleich entspannend wie auch belebend. Man fühlt die Musik, anstatt sie nur zu hören. Die heilende Wirkung ist mittlerweile hinreichend belegt und so wird in der Klangtherapie hauptsächlich auf diese Frequenz zurückgegriffen. Langfristig führt Musik in dieser Stimmung zu einem ausgeglicheneren Selbst, verschärften Sinnen und mehr Harmonie im Leben. 
Seit Anbeginn des menschlichen Zusammenlebens spielte diese Frequenz eine wichtige Rolle. Intuitiv wurde ihre Wirkung erkannt und fand bspw. in Ritualen von Naturvölkern Anwendung. Auch in der europäischen und deutschen Geschichte war diese Frequenz über Jahrhunderte der Standard Kammerton. Musikalische Ausnahmetalente wie Mozart oder auch Ludwig van Beethoven komponierten ihre Werke auf 432 Hz. 
Auf der letzten Stimmtonkonferenz 1939 wurde der Kammerton auf a’ 440 Hz abgeändert und seitdem dort belassen. Dieser Frequenz werden nicht mal ansatzweise die Effekte der 432 zugesprochen. Ganz im Gegenteil wird ihr nach gesagt, unharmonisch zu sein und zu wirken. Ich möchte hier eine Lanze für die 432 Hz brechen und wünsche mir, dass sie wieder großflächig Einzug in die Musik hält. 

Dario Klein beglückt uns heute mit einem abwechslungsreichen und harmonisch strukturierten Podcast. Die Tracks passen zueinander wie der Schlüssel ins Schloss. Die melancholisch und zugleich besinnliche Stimmung erzeugt ein wohliges Gefühl. Balsam für die Seele und das Klangherz, auf einen winterlichen Vizefreitag.
