People who know me know I don’t like playing short sets or doing short mixes. I haven’t done a mix for about 3 years because I can cross so many genres which you cant do in a 60 minute or 90 minute set. Doing mixes so short doesn’t really show what I can do. For me it’s about the journey. The interesting bits in-between all the chaos that build it up to the chaos making those peaks more enjoyable. It’s easy to showcase a short mix of hits. The trick is being to program a mix for about 3 hours that’s actually interesting and not just full of peak moments. So when I was asked by 333 to do a mix knowing I would be able to showcase and cross most of my genres, I jumped at the chance.

It's with great excitement that I release my set from Electric Island 2022 with you all. It was such an amazing day shared with so many beautiful friends and fam. Our community created some real magic at the Sunset Stage and I am so grateful to all of you who made it so special. Huge thanks to the organizers for having me once again, including Coda Toronto, Platform Entertainment, Embrace Presents and the whole EI crew. 

The set is filled with driving synths, deep and dark basslines sprinkled with some uplifting melodies, and of course some pinnacle vocal tracks that I feel in love with over the past few months.

I hope this takes you to a happy place like it does for me. Enjoy friends!

Noble Spirits pseudonym was created 4 years ago and they have had the chance to release on Sirin, WAYU, Shango, Art Vibes, Cafe de Anatolia and in their 2 labels; Dialtone Records and Dialtone Tales. 

Their releases have been featured on the front page, top 100 releases and charts of Beatport’s Organic House/Downtempo, Electronica, and Melodic House; getting support by Hernan Cattaneo, Steve Lawler, Danny Tenaglia, Behrouz, Niki Sadeki, Anatolian Sessions, Dandara, Nick Warren, M.O.S, Armen Miran and Mula (FR).

This January 2023 they will celebrate their 3rd year anniversary of their Story Tales Show at Proton Radio with past appearances from great artists: HAFT, Erdi Irmak, Mass Digital, Greg Ochman, SEVN (CA), Tom Nikso, Savvas, Shunus, Socko, DIBIDABO, Serkan Eles, Veytik and many others.

Sahagun | Noble Spirits

Ercos Blanka is an Italian artist, his career as a producer has began in 2011 collecting various releases on “Ampispazi Recordings”, thanks to the great friendship with the label manager Mik Santoro. He immediately shows a strong artistic personality and a precise melodic inclination within his tracks.

In 2016 he collaborates with the Spanish label “Seven Villas Music” led by Pablo Bolivar. The deep mutual esteem between the two artists leads them to collaborate in severals projects. 

In 2018 he released the Albums “Classic Trick”, the album gets a great success so much to push Pablo to commission a remix for each track to international artists such as Nhar, Arina Murr, Agatha Pher, Gadi Mitrani and several other.
After the great success of the album “Classic Trick”, in 2020 Ercos Blanka debuted with a single track entitled “Kafka” released on the Belgian label “Sound Avenue”, the track collects millions of streams. 

The originality and particularity of the melodies of the Italian artist push him to work on a new album “Culture” released on March 10th, 2023 once again on the Spanish label “Seven Villas Music” and with a track in collaboration with the French artist Nhar.

Unsere Nummer 25 hat der sehr begabte Wiener, leschueft für uns zusammen gestellt. Wir kennen und schätzen ihn jetzt schon, seit fast einem Jahr, als er uns mit einem seiner ersten Sets auf Soundcloud sehr begeistern konnte. Seine ruhigen, stimmigen und herzvollen Arbeiten zeigt er mittlerweile in den bekanntesten Podcastserien wie u.a. bei Room84, Electronic Groove, Deepist, Sunset Grooves... Umso mehr freuen wir uns, dass er sich dieses mal für uns die Zeit für genommen hat.

Wie und wann bist du zur elektronischen Musik gekommen?

Mit 16 Jahren bin ich von französischem HipHop zum franz. House (Étienne de Crecy, Superfunk, Daft Punk,...) gerutscht. Lange Zeit war ich dann auf Drum’n’Bass eingestellt, bis ich vor 9 Jahren auf Minimal gestoßen bin. Von da an ging die Reise über Deep House und Techno, bis ich im Hier und Jetzt bei Downtempo gelandet bin. Big Love!

Welche musikalischen Momente sind dir besonders in Erinnerung geblieben?

Besonders in Erinneurng geblieben sind mir genau drei Momente: Flex, Fusion und Heimlich! Im damals noch sehr vom Underground geprägten Flex habe ich Dj Bailey und MC Tali (Drum'n'Bass vom allerfeinsten) live erlebt. Mein Fusion-Erlebnis 2014 ist in einem Wort zusammen zu fassen: Unglaublich! Ende August diesen Jahres habe ich als Teil des Heimlich-Kollektivs einen wunderschönen Wald-Rave organisiert, den ich so schnell nicht vergessen werde.

Wo konnte man dich bisher antreffen?

Bisher war ich ein „Wohnzimmer-DJ“ und habe durch Podcasts auf Soundcloud kommuniziert. Zwei Mal habe ich fern meiner Zielgruppe bei einer Hochzeit und einer Vernissage aufgelegt und zwei Mal habe ich bis jetzt auch schon für die Downtempo-Crowd aufgelegt.  Das Feedback war enorm und hat mich in meinem Tun bestärkt.

Gibt es Zukunftspläne?

Oh ja, und wie! Ich bin seit kurzem bei dem Downtempo-Kollektiv Heimlich (@Heimlichaufsc) dabei, aber wir haben jetzt schon Großes vor. Im Moment sind wir voller Tatendrang in Wien Downtempo-technisch etwas voran zu bringen. Martha van Straaten kommt im September, Stiglitz & Bernstein kommen Anfang Oktober und Caleesi kommt Mitte Oktober. Bei letzterem Event bin ich Support Act. Irgendwann wollen wir auch in Berlin spielen.

Rafaelle is a singer & electronic artist. Rafaelle’s smooth, profound and unique voice has been influenced both by the study of vocal Jazz and Hindustani classical vocal studies in Northern India.
Her most recent Project ‘HUMAN INSTRUMENT’ debuted at la SAT in 2018 & 2019. An immersive, multimedia performance in the Satosphere, where her acapella voice displays and effects the visual and synesthetic effects of Cymatics.
