Another month, another stacked top 10 playlist of strong releases from some great artists. There are a couple of notable tracks from UK based record label @anjunadeep including Not Alone by @fluida as well as a masterpiece called Oldurot, remixed by @tontario. @justhermusic continues her hit collabs, this time with @ryanmurgatroyd on Busy Minds. Rounding out the playlist is one of my favourite tracks because of its beautiful melody, inspired by the movie, Insterstellar's main theme song, @superbutch & c-vogt-official bring us "Bliss".

Showcasing a production style that lands somewhere between Ancient Methods, Sandwell District and a more rugged version of the live-orientated Karenn sound, GG manages to simultaneously sound like a palm tree-crushing bulldozer whilst keeping the rhythms and grooves undulating under booted foot.

The man from Düsseldorf has done it again. André Hommen’s ‘Bassari People’ EP drops today on Dennis Ferrer’s Objektivity imprint, and it’s sure to cause a stir on the global dancefloor. We’re pleased to premiere its title track, a unique bundle of groovy goodness inspired by the Bassari tribe, a small group of people from Senegal. Andre stumbled across the tribe in a series of YouTube videos, and thus the record concept was born. ‘Bassari People’ is getting support from the right people: Solomun, Dixon, Tensnake, Marcus Worgull, Mano Le Tough, Dennis Ferrer and  Anja Schneider among them..

We named André Hommen to our ‘20 DJs To Watch In 2016’ list at the end of last year and with this latest release, he’s living up to the accolade. After bursting on to the scene in a big way with his ‘Battery Park’ EP in 2015, he continues to tour extensively. From clinching a residency at Pacha Barcelona, to his upcoming debut in Beirut in July followed by a South American tour, André's gone global – you’re practically guaranteed to either see or hear him on a floor sometime this summer.

Solemn Eye debuts his first Steyoyoke EP 'Melodrama', a tantalizing tribute to techno. The melodramatic tones and spirit transport you into a cosmos lit bright by hallucinatory sounds, kicks, and impossibly intricate bass lines. The EP includes three original productions, 'Kenopsia', 'Dusky Cloud', and 'Vellichor'. 
'Kenopsia': a place that used to be bustling with people that has become eerie, abandoned and lonely. The climatic track takes you through a range of emotions, from emptiness and uncertainty to delusional joy. The solemn vocals radiating subtly, accompanied by the sharp piercing synths give this tracks a necessary duality. 
'Dusky Cloud', a calm before the storm. The sweet, innocent, seemingly analog sounds accompanied by a compelling ascension of emotion and intensity lead to a dreamy trance. 
'Vellichor' is a tribute to used bookstores that are deeply rooted in the passage of time. A dedication to lost knowledge and loves, 'Vellichor' hits hard with eerie, nostalgic noise that fills the soul with the joy of a lost greatness. 
A melodramatic EP, 'Melodrama' is a powerful first step from new comer Solemn Eye, sliding in perfectly into the Steyoyoke family.

Delusion is a fresh-out-of-the-studio deep hypnotic techno track by Melbourne based Daniel Verhagen. It's the first track from his forthcoming EP to be released on Australian underground house/techno superlabel Upon Access run by Made in Paris.

A hypnotic atmosphere, timeless piano keys and dreamy vocal all create a perfect soundscape on this (d)illusional track.  Delusion was inspired by the delusive lure of perfectionism whilst on the pursuit of mastery. Sonically, it features a contrasting balance of classical and contemporary instruments used to create a film music inspired melancholic soundscape.

Out on Upon Access January 27th.

Exclusive Armen Miran 'For Eternity (Love Over Entropy Remix)'

Armen Miran's sound heads from LA to Europe and conquers the scene in no time. 'For Eternity' is Miran's latest installment and provides everything for a pure listening experience. The EP kicks off with the original version of 'For Eternity' that easily crosses the boundaries between folk elements and House music in combination with an almost sacred choir sample. French producers Birds of Mind contribute a remix that emphasizes on the downtempo aspect and turns the original into an almost chopped version that highlights the folk and choir elements. A last remix comes from Dutch producer of the moment Love Over Entropy who concentrates on the crunchiness of the baseline but uses warmer synthchords that perfectly harmonize with the guitar from the original while also adding some spooky minimalistic sound samples. The EP's second track 'Save My Soul' is an upcoming storm of an folk influenced tune not restraining an oriental flute and oud. Unders' Britta Arnold's and Budakid's remix not only adds some pace to the original but also hope in form of pending synths and reduced folk elements mainly focussing on the oud from the original that drills into one's head.

'For Eternity' is out on Underyourskin Records on February 24th.

Man O To from the elusive producer NU is finally set to be released as a single on Crosstown Rebels. Since its inclusion on Acid Pauli’s Get Lost Compilation in 2012 the track has clocked up tens of millions of Youtube hits and now heralds in a much coveted artist album due later this year. Remix treatment comes from Parisian producer ​Pépé Bradock and live artist Be Svendsen.

A nomad of modern times, ​NU​ has travelled the continents with his diverse music to unearth his imitable style. Repres​ented heavily in ​Man O To, where instruments amalgamate with electronic production to become solid rhythms. An extra spark come from its lyrics, outtakes from an old Persian poem from the well known poet Rumi, who speaks of true happiness in love here performed by Ghazal Shakeri from an original recording made by renowned French composer Armand Amar.

Julien Auger aka ​Pépé Bradock​ is a widely respected producer best known for his anthemic releases on French label Kif Recordings which are still sampled heavily to this day. As a DJ, he has spun in almost every major club in the world and is known for his versatile, and mesmerising style. Bradock conjures a trippy remix and dub version of ​Man O To and fitting ode to the original.

Be Svendsen​ aka Lasse Bruhn Svendsen broke through into the international scene in 2014 with a series of productions and enchanting live performances at some of the most avant garde places to play on the earth, such as BOOM festival, Fusion, Burning Man, Symbiosis, Rainbow Serpent and AfrikaBurn. ​“‘Man O To’ is a track that has touched th​ e hearts of many, including my own,’ Svendsen explained.​ ‘Being asked to add a new chapter to its story is both an honor and my greatest challenge to date.”

Over the years, Berlin has been cited as Oliver Koletzki’s main point of reference and, more importantly, his endless source of inspiration. His albums Großstadtmärchen and Großstadtmärchen 2 are wholehearted tributes of the German capital, as its importance is continuously hinted and charted.  Friedrichshain, one of Berlin’s vibrant districts, has always held a special place in Oliver’s heart. This is where he started out when he first moved to the city, and this is where he lives now. Kreuzberg’s wall paintings adorn Stil Vor Talent ’s cover sleeves and host their headquarters. There are little to no corners in the city that haven’t brought a spark of inspiration into the mix. The Schneeweiss compilation series, now at its seventh installment, is built as a form of tribute to all these particles, tied in together into a series of carefully curated tracks.
