London-based singer-songwriter Hoian (pronounced ‘hoy-an’) is back with her enchanting new single, ‘Untitled (Too Soon)’ released on the 20th July.
 
‘Untitled (Too Soon)’ is an emotional song about suffering a miscarriage during early pregnancy.  Its dreamy, atmospheric sound draws on influences from the likes of Beach House, Deftones, Bjork and Radiohead.

The track was entirely written and produced at home by Hoian, mixed by Cristian Perugino and mastered by Andy Baldwin (Blur, Interpol, Ben Howard) at the legendary Metropolis Studios.

Hoian has picked up support from the likes of Clash Magazine, BBC Introducing Merseyside, BBC Radio London, Soho Radio and Amazing Radio.

Introducing London-based singer-songwriter Hoian and the release of her debut single ‘In The Ring’ for February 17, available on all digital streaming platforms.

Hoian is the musical project of, a musician, songwriter and producer from Merseyside, now living in South London.

Initially inspired to write songs after falling in love with Jeff Buckley’s ‘Grace’, it wasn’t until lockdown, when Hoian began learning production on Logic Pro, that Hoian was born. She wanted a way to create full compositions combining instinctive melodic prowess with a love of experimentation. 

Her songs focus on strong vocal and instrumental melodies with a mix of guitar-based indie songs and darker electro-alternative compositions. Her influences include Julia Jacklin, Radiohead, Tame Impala, James Blake, Deftones and Little Dragon.
