There's some unreleased bits from himself, sneaky white labels and a couple from his Earth Acid EP.

As an advocate for fighting the imbalance of gender inequality within music, her work at Sisu and prior to that running women-only DJ workshops have formed her passion for moral and equitable change in music. She’s also part of a collective Team Woibey, also including fellow DJs Ell Murphy, Ohmydais and Fae. She’s an avid whosampled contributor, jazz record collector and all around amen enthusiast.

Having been sighted in DJ Mag's "ones to watch for 2022" due to her ability to mix multiple genres without breaking stride, we are delighted to have them provide the historic 100th CKFM.

We welcome DJ Life to Ape-X for our 49th Ape Cast of the series. Coming all the way from Naarm, Australia, Dj Life takes us on an hour-long journey filled with House, Tech-tribal-progressive house and techno.  

DJ life has quickly made himself well known in the underground music scene with his up tempo trance sounds and a generous handful of releases on acclaimed underground dance labels such as; Craigie Knowes, Potato Headz Records and more, DJ Life & Reflex Blue have since then started their own label label - Progress Earth - which is now a solid platform for their own quirky impulsive tunes to be aired on. 

You will be able to see him around Europe this summer at both festivals and smaller events this summer 👀

Usually he is found spinning electro in all its different shades but for this mix he's pulled out some of the nastiest breaks I've ever heard. Seriously killer vibes. You are gonna be pulling the stank face for most of the hour I assure you...

"This mix was made with peaktime club energy in mind - I really pushed myself to make something a bit more heavy hitting than my usual mixes, something that’s pretty representative of how my peak time sets could go depending on where I am. I suppose a lot of the time I am aware most people are just casually listening to mixes at home in the background, and because I’m also making them at home it naturally feeds into a less intense energy. But I just played a really wicked gig in Lausanne recently where I played a pretty heavy/fast set following on from the guys before me, so I’m still kinda on that vibe at the moment. It was one of those shows where I felt like I really pushed myself. It’s always good to have that challenge and be able to push yourself to the next level, maybe even a little bit out of your comfort zone at times, and I felt like I really did that at the weekend. So yeah, I think it’s a little taster of that energy."

Probably our last Down To Earth night we put on alongside Public Affair and @pressuredome at Strange Brew in Bristol a few weeks ago. The energy and positivity in that room was the best I’ve felt in a while and all the DJs were sick. The party was a mega success and being able to run it with friends made it all the more rewarding.

I think Space Cadets (@adampits + @liseneuk) in The Woods at @secret-garden-party last year takes it though, fucking loved that.
