Holic Trax label boss Tomoki Tamura and one-of-a-kind super-producer Tuccillo have teamed up again for label’s 32nd release.

Each track has its own unique character, and their talents are on full display on this wonderful 4-track EP.

In the third episode of sick of silence, Splendid alfonsino invites @tomoki-tamura, the label boss of @holictrax. 

Tomoki Tamura grew up in Japan before moving to London , where he established his party, Holic, as well as his label, named Holic Trax. The label has since merged into an essential vehicle for clued in, discerning electronic music. He is now based in Berlin and gifted us with one hour of genre bending, groovy and inspiring deep vinyl set.

Following Tomoki, Splendid Alfonsino (@voeskij) delivered a more dancefloor oriented music selection with his vinyl set which included acid, detroit and deep gems.

The term 'legend' is often banded around in dance music, but Mr. G, aka Colin McBean, is one of the few who can rightfully lay claim to this accolade.

What can I say about this man that’s not already been said, as he definitely needs no introduction!

First part of the show is really just some of my all time favourite jams by the man.

Holic Trax has established itself as a respected, no nonsense outlet for quality house and techno and that carries on here with a new EP from Keita Sano that comes on a limited edition run of coloured vinyl.
Keita Sano is based in Okayama, Japan and has previously released on labels such as
NYC’s Mister Saturday Night and Hugo Capablanca’s Discos Capablanca. Here he presents his latest single for the ever excellent Holic Trax in raw and excellent fashion.
Up first, ‘Flowers From Your Grave’ is a gritty number with tough drums, Detroit inspired pads and plenty of physicality in the groove. Crisp and dynamic, it’s a robust house cut, for sure.
‘Let’s Stay Together’
is a more party sounding offering with atmospheric ambience in the back ground as streaming Rhodes chords and organic percussion set a Moodymann style vibe front and centre.
Then comes ‘Night Walking’, which flips the script again, this time sinking down into a warm,
propulsive deep house vibe with bold but soft edged chords, driving drums and engaging hand claps. Lastly, vinyl only cut ‘Exit’ is a prickly, raw and frazzled acid number with phased
basslines, panning 303 squelches and plenty of wallop in its bones.
This is a fine EP that is sure to make a big impact on the dance floor.

DJ Nature follows up 2018’s ‘Ultimate Delusion’ EP with another set of pure heaters for Futureboogie.  

The Bristol born DJ and producer, also known to many as Nature Boy, comes with an exemplary track record, but that’s to be expected from one of the scene’s early pioneers.  Releases for Golf Channel Recordings, Jazzy Sport and Ruff Disco Records are considered true classics, and rightly so!

Breezy MPC house jams of the highest quality, ‘Flutter’ manages to fuse David Lynch style pads and earthy vocals with a marching rhythm, whilst ‘A Moment’ gets cosmically charged with a spiralling modular lick over a chugging guitar hook and spacey chords.

NB’s Mix of Siliconada goes straight for the jugular, with looping disco rhythms and off kilter jazz licks, whilst the Original Version lays heavy and disorientating synth work down for a killer techno injection.

As always, DJ Nature delivers a unique and distinctive sound that is often imitated but never bettered!
