The south of Portugal strikes again via OEJ with a new set of deep, romantic groovers crafted by Adriana Lourinho and Igor Inácio (Portimão, Algarve); the real-life couple of DJ's, record collectors and synth operators otherwise known as Roundhouse Kick. Their 1st release 'ARM1X' was a favourite of DJ's like Jackmaster, Dan Avery or JD Twitch, and this one seems to be following the same path, creeping into the sets of legendary DJ TLR (Creme Organization) in the form of a remix by Mind Safari - a promising new talent in the portuguese scene with sick, jacking drum tracks on labels like AVNL and Extended plus his own blog/podcast Batida committed to showcase the finest in underground electronic music.

PRST Club resident duo Apua and Stipo have been pivotal in the progress of Austria’s underground scene. Regularly being called upon to support the visiting talent to their home city of Vienna, these two rising artists are stars in the making themselves. As well as both artists being part of the Vienna Worldwide collective, Stipo is the founder of the Rhythm Science imprint. 

Having seen what they can do when Stipo was part of our Easter PRST egg-travaganza, we couldn't wait for the pair to join our InSession series. They have not disappointed as they raise the levels from the first track. With the funk dialled up to eleven from the outset, they quickly shift through percussive house, vocal gems, before shifting up a gear with chunky tech house. Regardless of the subgenre, Apua and Stipo always maintain their love of vibe-heavy stunners.

Recorded live at this year’s edition of MIMO, this 2–4am set from Flo Massé turned the Bunker into a bubble of energy. With her French-Brazilian roots and a drummer’s instinct for rhythm, Flo channels raw groove through vinyl selections that fuse progressive house, trance, acid, and electro.

A two-hour journey that captures the pulse of the night and the spirit of the festival — enjoy it until the very last bit, because she truly turned the dance floor upside down.

With Alien Communications’ star rising exponentially, we’ve been eagerly anticipating the UK artist’s turn on our InSessions mix series - and he hasn’t disappointed. Welding bomb-proof beats, outrageous acid lines, and fathoms-deep basslines to robotic aesthetics, this mix simultaneously looks back in time while fast-forwarding far into the future. To say the future is bright for Alien Communications would be an understatement, as he continues to weave his way across the world’s finest dancefloors.
