Bali-based artist DITA began her DJ-ing career in 2014 after being exposed to the varying perspectives constituting Indonesia’s music culture. Exploring the sounds with a keen ear and a growing excitement, DITA established her collective “Perky Club” which solidified her eclectic practice as she bounced between Jakartan and Balinese dance-floors. Armed with musical prowess and an infectious spirit, you can now find DITA with a wide-range of versatile selections including Proto-House, 90’s breaks, Balearic and beyond.

DITA’s nuanced sound curated over the years has seen her play on stages such as Boiler Room, Wonderfruit Festival, all across Australia, Potato Head Bali & the newly opened Klymax Discotheque where she is a key resident.

This mix is part of a live set at Paloma 30th of March this year.
The mix spans in different genres such as house, techno, electro sounds, dubby techno, tribal house, acid and brain dance, a deep selection for the heads and the groovers on the dance floor.

A very special recording from our 10 years of MFM event at Fairfield Amphitheatre last September between Jamie and Lauren. It was beautiful to see two close friends throwing down tracks, lost in the music and the thing that they love. The clocks went forward. The speakers were still moving. (They don’t call it a travelling sound system for nothing.) Once the sound settled and after a needle change or two, the dancers flooded in and the sun dipped out of sight.

This recording picks up from about that moment. Just a fun, loose energy from a crowd that knew Monday was a freebie. Flowing between groovers and steppers as the night got extended (twice). 

We felt the love and gratitude, and hope you enjoy the listen back.
