The earliest surviving secular song in the English language, from the 13th century. We learned this song from our friend Meri-Sofia Lakopoulos.

Just some experimenting with the Microbrute sequencer :) 
I was really happy with myself for figuring out the Stranger Things theme haha, so I noodled around with some effects. Kick added in Ableton (909 core kit). Also added a teeny bit of reverb to the Brute.

I do love that mod wheel...

(Re)action jam session

Sharing my first track with proper vocals for this week's #disquietjunto challenge! 

This is my 'lockdown song' I guess, inspired by the amount of healing the Earth seems to be doing when we're not allowed to run around all over her. I wanted it to be sombre and sad, but sort of hopeful at the same time? For the Earth anyway... Maybe not humans...

I still have a lot to learn about mixing haha so any tips welcome.

Birdsong at the start is by juskiddink on freesound.org and is used with a Creative Commons Attribution License: https://freesound.org/people/juskiddink/sounds/99645/ 

The other samples are from the TV show 'Life After People'. 

With the vocals I was going for a dreamy, ethereal vibe. 

Aside from the recorded vocals it's all native Ableton instruments/FX and some TDR-Nova EQ.
