Sojeso to release his second full-length album ‘Sonatine’ on Honey Badger Records on April 27th, 2022.
Sojeso is Song Kwang Ho's personal project name. Sojeso strongly appealed to the listener as a solo producer through his first EP album 'Tape' which was released as digital and cassette tape at the end of 2016. His first full-length album "SPEND" released on Honey Badger Records in 2018 is also an extension of the music he has shown in recent years.
After that, he continued to develop his own sound in the collaboration with many musicians, including ’90 Broke' EP with his friend Mignon on Honey Badger Records, and also ‘Dizzy Days’ album with WDRW last year.
The ‘Sonatine’ is an album that captures his taste, who usually likes 90s Japanese music and oriental elements of Japanese films, and chill house music vibe stands out. Inspired by the atmosphere of Takeshi Kitano's film 'Sonatine', entire album was created while watching Sonatine's movie scenes. ‘Sonatine’ means easy sonata, it is an album that is easy to listen to and reinterpreted by adding elements of Reggae and Acid house with a focus on simple sounds.
