For nationalism and war,
Are traitors to the poor,
Who find it easy to ignore,
When there’s no rubble on your front door

Was it tattered and torn,
Left ravaged and worn,
Leaving a child wishing they’d never been born,

That’s sick, and it’s the world we’re living in,
And my tolerance for bullshit is paper thin,

So before we speak let me be clear,
I’m not about to spread propaganda in your ear,
Maybe some common sense, knowledge and wisdom,
Before we get fucked by a violent system.

You weren’t born with hate in you heart,
That’s something you’ve learnt so maybe there’s a start,
Of somewhere to investigate at a later date,
At any rate, we’re repeating the fate, 

Of our grandparents, 

and now WE are the bad guys,
But who wants to hear that with your order of large fries,
We need to change in so many ways,
So we live for love and not what pays.
