Not satisfied with already dropping his ‘Pyro’ album back in March, Particle returns to Critical with another pair of expertly crafted tracks from two very different sides of the sonic spectrum.

After debuting on the main stage at Boomtown, ‘Shunt’ is stripped-back, minimal D&B at its very best; showcasing Particle’s knack for carving enormous tracks from the simplest of basslines and the most spacious of drum grooves.

‘W4M’ - in collaboration with Austrian producer Wingz - refreshes with something totally different; layering soulful detuned chords and re-pitched vocals over deliciously clean drums and subs for a blissful roller to help soothe those early winter blues.

Amsterdam-based Waeys joins forces with south London’s Nathan Smoker and Manchester’s finest Verbz on “I Don’t Wanna Know.” Waeys has been unstoppable since his 2019 debut, with standout releases on top labels like Critical, Overview, and Shogun. His crisp production complements Smoker’s rich vocals, while Verbz brings his introspective lyrics, honed in the UK hip-hop scene and across releases on the likes of The North Quarter, Critical Music, and 1985 Music.
