The "Elvis, And" Podcast is a parody of the rock and roll lifestyle.
Though the monologues are true accounts as told by some of Elvis’s closest confidants, the scenes are improvised and complete fiction.

HOT BREAKFAST! is Delaware’s premier acoustic dork-rock power duo. Based in Wilmington, Delaware, this well-traveled, entertaining duo features Jill Knapp’s award-winning powerhouse vocals, Matt Casarino’s award-winning songwriting and furious acoustic guitar work, and a rockin’, fun, dorky, often hilarious live show. They’ve won over audiences all across North America with their playful, inclusive, and compelling approach to music, an approach that makes them equally comfortable at huge festivals (SXSW 2014-2016, Flipside 2012, Burning Man 2011, 2018), large punk and rockabilly venues like the Trocadero in Philly and Slim’s in San Francisco (where they’ve shared the stage with The Dead Milkmen), folk clubs, coffeehouses, and intimate house concerts. 

Original tracks from their self-titled EP (2012’s “Hot Breakfast!”) and their full-length albums (2015’s The Big Reveal & 2013’s 39 Summers) continue to enjoy radio play around the world on terrestrial, internet, and even satellite stations – they’ve even had songs featured on Little Steven’s Underground Garage (“Underground”) and the Dr. Demento Show (“Hole in Your Pants”). They’ve got several awards on their shelves (WSTW Homey Awards for Best Live Act (two years in a row!), Best Songwriter, Best Lead Singer (twice!), Best EP, & Best Collaboration (twice!), and they were second runner-up in 2014’s Best of World Cafe Live’s Philly Rising competition, out of hundreds of musicians. Plus, they’ve logged many thousands of tour miles since their official formation in 2010, and they have no plans to stop now. West Chester, PA's Ben Smith, formerly of The Gilroys, Wise and Foolish Builders, and Missing Palmer West, is back this spring (2025) with a new album, Outro. It's got the usual front parlor and back barroom piano thing going on--but now with more blips and blorps.

Outro (and 2019’s Picardy) are the latest albums from prolific songwriter, Ben Smith. It joins a long line of song projects Ben has taken on over the last 20+ years—with bands (The Gilroys, Wise and Foolish Builders, Missing Palmer West), solo records (2011’s Crooked Earth, 2013’s EP Ravine Road), his annual Old Man Winter holiday song catalog, his songs-for-hire project Songsmith, and his in-the-works musical Page Two.

Smith, from West Chester, Pennsylvania has been one of WXPN’s long time favorite, local singer-songwriters, supporting his songs on the air and showcasing them in an episode of their Key Studio session video series. XPN’s program director Bruce Warren is a fan, calling Smith’s music “all good things warm and welcoming.”

​Most of Ben’s songs are written at the piano, and sound both traditional—at home in some front parlor or back barroom—and sophisticated, something overheard echoing down a chamber hall, often accompanied by strings and other elaborate arrangements. It’s Harry Nilsson, Elvis Costello, Randy Newman, Rufus Wainwright, and Ray Davies--or at least that's the plan.
