Member of Wrocław-based collective & independent record label regime brigade, one of many minds behind Uczulenie - a music club & a place of culture in the heart of the city. Part of the Polish Juke roster, an artist with numerous tunes & remixes in his catalogue, and - most importantly - five solo albums, including this year's exercise in experimental hip-hop in the form of his HEAVYWEIGHTŻ00LRAP EP released in July.

Sounds of the KVLT 13 - BABY MEELO

There’s an air of mysteriousness surrounding Bing. Originally landing in our inbox as a package of demos, the music immediately made a question pop into our heads: who is this person?

‘Silent Talking / White Divide’ is Bing’s first offering for Intercept. The hyper-detailed production style, combined with spacious vocal chops, bubbly synth work, and rumbling basses, make for a striking contrast that feels at home somewhere between head-in-the-clouds breaks and earthbound techno.

The two tracks showcase just that. A-side ‘Silent Talking’ is the dreamy sibling of the two. Light-footed, airy grooves are combined with melodic lines that float between the groove, never truly landing, keeping the dancer moving forward in upward momentum. The track has gotten a special ‘Silence’ treatment by one of Intercept’s first artists: French II

With ‘White Divide’, Bing takes you back to the ground again by using trip-inducing rhythms and synths to shake you at the core, resulting in a bodily experience that shows that Bing has ambition not to only make music that’s memorable by the ear, but also by the senses.

So who’s Bing? Someone to surely keep an eye on for the upcoming years.

We're pleased to introduce you to London-based producer On Man, a musician whose previous collaborations include Giggs, Darq E Freaker, Zebra Katz and Mr Hudson amongst others.

The original 'Squares and Triangles features fellow London-based rapper F-M-M-F' and now we have Ninja Tune's insanely good producer 'The Bug' on remix duties.


"Pure, physical heaviness - that’s what I wanted with the Squares and Triangles remix, and that’s why I was so excited that The Bug agreed to take on the track. It was a deep, dark track already but he's grabbed it and submerged it down into the abyss in a way that only he can. I’ve been a big fan ever since London Zoo, and I love all of his other projects, so it’s an honour to have him jump on board." ~ On Man


"What attracted me to remixing 'Squares & Triangles' was the sense of mystery. I had never heard of the artist On Man, nor the MC F-M-M-F, and so i had no preconceptions nor obstacles. I loved the fact the vocals provided more questions than answers. And as a fellow freak, in a time where so much music is made to fit blandly into a conformist box, I totally admired the fact this song existed in its own, uncommercial, non-aligned zone.
I just knew as soon as i heard the original, i instantly dug the ice-cold mood and felt I wanted to make it both heavier and deeper simultaneously." ~ The Bug


"F-M-M-F's twisted verbals were hyper-tense and psychotic, so the challenge was to try and intensify the deadly narrative of the lyrics still further... So i opted for max brutality, absolute minimalism, and a relentless groove to carry the crushing weight and add to the sense of danger and drama." ~ The Bug

The shape-shifting sound of Low End Activist continues to pivot around an axis of bassweight pressure with the launch of their self-titled label – the appropriate vessel to take them deeper into sci-fi scented sonics with an ‘ardcore swagger. Previous drops on Sneaker Social Club and Seagrave have seen the shadowy technician mangling grime, jungle and dubstep tropes with all the grit and flair of the most visionary sample sorcerers. At times, they’ve built their beatscapes up around fierce MC spots from such legends as Flowdan and Trim, but while there’s more to come on the vocal tip for the LEA series, this first installment works in a strictly instrumental fashion.

Hi-Tech breakbeat de/re-construction is the focus across all three tracks on LEA001, with atmospheres so densely rendered you can feel them sticking to your skin like the sweat of a well-slicked basement session. ‘Engineers Origins’ emits pure darkcore energy and icy stabs of future-shock industrialism, while ‘Look Up’ shivers with off-key orchestrations. ‘Probability 1’ gets deep in the break edit and throws in an iconic low end rumble that should spark intense reveries amongst anyone with even a passing appreciation for bass. Like the most potent foundational jungle, all three tracks swerve regimented structure in favour of moody exploration around a suite of themes and sounds, slipping time in style and setting up the LEA series for further intense sonic treatments to come.
