Comprised of two originals and three remixes, Overkissed's Foolish EP is a whirlwind of skittering rhythms, delicate pads, catchy hooks, and plenty of emotion. Overkissed takes a simple vocal sample and puts it front and center for the heavy duty house workout that is "Foolin' Me." With "Foolin' U" he builds a world of interlocking drums, swirling vocals snippets, growling bass, and emotive synthwork. Rounding out the EP are three interpretations of "Foolin' Me" from Selfhood, Max Ulis, and Gloved Hands that all pull the original into strange, compelling new territories with Electro, Breaks and Leftfield House all under one release.
