Fuse London label boss @EnzoSiragusa rounds out the summer by linking with his esteemed peer @Martin-Buttrich on the undoubtedly high profile collaborative 'Three Squared' EP, which features the squelching and stripped deep house cut 'Dangerman'.

As Buttrich has been part of the FUSE family from the very beginning, a watertight bond sealed via various line-ups and studio sessions over the years, this full collaborative release showcases the strong bond these two talents have shared. ‘Palais’ is a 12 track multi-faceted exploration of Kris Baha’s musical sensitivity. The one man band’s namesake LP title, ‘Palais’ is based around the concepts of alienation, detachment, melancholia and lust. All songs written, performed, recorded and mixed by Kris between 2015 - 2018 in Berlin, laced in his signature industrial sound.
‘Palais’ encompasses a range of shades from dance-floor works ‘ Living Nothingness’, 'Brink Reality (Part 2)' & 'Non For The Sane’ to experimental cinematic undertones 'You Told Yourself This Would Get Worse’. Also embodied are modern classics like the machine funk metallics of ’Steel Sands’ and ‘Defied’, a year 2042 cyber punk hit. There’s even a dark room inspired theme for the black leather lovers. From his own batch of psychedelia to post-punk and electronic romanticism this album is full of surprises and Cocktail d’Amore Music is absolutely proud to present this outstanding work.

"NNHMN (pronounce Non-Human) the duo, who go by Lee and Laudarg, actually hails from Berlin. They came together in this project to explore their love for the cold spectrum of synths sounds as well as the personal path of spirituality, solitude, obsessions, abyss and the desire for immortality. The duo aims to achieve a lot with a little, and that is the singular aesthetic that sets them apart.
''Church of no religion'' is putting ceremony, liturgy and ritual influences at the forefront, combining it with dark synth music which has a strong experimental approach and a raw Gothic flavour. This is Gothic in the context the way the Christian Church used it in the Middle Ages - anything that was uncivilized and not stemming from Christianity was condemned witchcraft.
This album is full of rhythmic, but not severe, electronics. The heavily processed female vocals embedded in looped rhythms, stretched murmurs and hums build a kind of trance, a point of passage to another reality. The cosmically anchored compositions by NNHMN don’t have anything in common with songs. Here the rhythms and melodies are diffused in reverbs, and the multiplied and stratified synth elements seem to have been overheated and later chilled and dispersed.
“Church of No Religion” reflects their interest in dark synthwave music from a period spanning the eighties through the nineties, combining it with hypnotic techno. Next to the classic arsenal of synthesizers, one can hear a drum machine built by Dino Sabatini and modified by Laudarg, as well as an acoustic ritual bass drum made by the Tuvan shaman, Gendos.
The term “non-religion” refers to the modern ''nones'' who are rejecting religions as a source of authority on personal morality. No religion has become the new religion, while “religion” has become something that other people do. Throughout the history of humankind, there was always religion, a cult that had catapulted human beings somewhere where the spirits talked, where one could feel something very different to matter.
Nowadays we all live in a world which is split between raging religious fronts and total yet ostensible liberation, so what is left of the greatest longing of humankind?
Man needs ritual and dogma, but no law states that an externalized god is necessary in order to engage in ritual and ceremony.
Non-religion is a form of struggle against the domination of very strong religious groups, so it is quite militant.
While not necessarily a concept album, this link adds some conceptual cohesion to the panorama of the album. This theme is reflected in several song titles: "Army of Mary" ( the pure female element which is always present in every epoch, in every civilization and ultimately, in every religion ); "Teutons" (the Teutonic Knights- serving as a crusading military order for the protection of Christians in the Holy Land and the Baltics during the Middle Ages ), "Shulamite Woman" (the old Biblical archetype of mistress and carnal love), ''Ariel'' (the fallen angel, in some interpretations, called a demon-found primarily in Jewish and Christian mysticism and Apocrypha, among others John Milton used this character in ''Paradise Lost''), Häxan (satanic rites, witchcraft, witch hunt and burning piles), Witch of Endor (the death figure, a portal, summoning of the spirits) and more to unravel."

bORDEL Records revisit some of Scratch Massive’s key tracks with a series of well curated remixes by Kittin, Maelstrom, Sophia Saze and Nhar. The original music is taken from the French duo’s 2018 album Garden of Love, with remixes already coming from artists Skinnerbox, UMWELT, Catnapp, Turbotito, Sentimental Rave, Paul Seul and Ortrotasce. bORDEL Records now prepares to release the full compilation with four more brand new and excellent remixes and in these capable hands the originals sound brilliantly re-invented. Electroclash pioneer Kittin goes first with a hard hitting techno remix of ‘Pray.’ Stomping drums and thundering claps makes this a militant and marching groove, while mournful pads light things up from behind. RAAR label co-founder and French electro talent Maelstrom tackles ‘Chute Libre’ with a sheet metal lead synth line and crashing hits. It’s a tough electro tune with rugged bass and plenty of grit. Georgia-born, Brooklyn-based multi-instrumentalist Sophia Saze is renowned for her live A/V show, Dusk & Haze label and outings on the likes of Ghostly International and Oktave Record, not to mention her critically acclaimed debut album on Kingdoms. She brings real weight and menace to her stomping, strobe-lit and instal take on ‘Pray.’ It’s edgy warehouse tackle of the highest order with a mad breakbeat breakdown that really explodes. Nhar rounds out this excellent EP with a slow, chugging, flabby and dubbed out version of ‘Last Dance’ that sinks you into gently cosmic groove and soothe your mind, body and soul. This is another vital package of remixes that adds plenty of new perspective to the originals.

Off the back of his killer album release, LOMA, Throwing Snow returns for a fiery, politically charged EP; The Death of Pragmatism.  


As tension continues to rise in the UK around the Brexit debate, Throwing Snow channels the aggression into a 4-track release - showcasing some of his most intense work to date. To be released on the 1st November, the day after Brexit is executed, the EP opens with a percussive-driven record ‘Nought To Gain’. The idea is built around Ross Tones (AKA Throwing Snow) looking into the dramatic system modifications at play that change landscapes as a whole and when ’the supposed benefits of that modification no longer apply as there is now a different structure in place - there is nought to gain and all to lose’.  

The second track, ‘The Righteous Mind’, is named after Jonathan Haidt’s book subtitled ‘Why Good People are separated by Politics and Religion’. ‘His approach explains the current schisms and could act as a mediator for angry voices’, Ross says, giving a better understanding of the single as it allows for a moment of reflection before leading into ‘Ideolog’ - an ominous soundscape circling back to Throwing Snow’s half time DnB influences.   

‘When staring into the abyss, a great orator speaks of utopias and rose-tinted cocoons. Ideologues are intrinsically reductionist, degrading the complexity of every single issue. Meshed interrelations are ignored, in favour of quasi-religious furore. Basically, it’s a shit idea to follow them’.  

Rounding off with ‘The Death of Pragmatism’, a climatic syncopated record focused on glass-shattering beats and piercing synths, Ross cites the world of Gödel and unyielding ideologies which suffer from their complex consequences. ‘Assessing the foreseeable aftermath within a broader context is a map through the madness. Otherwise it’s the death of Pragmatism’.
