Pavel Chalupa aka PDCH is part of dj scene in Brno, CZ for over a decade now and is actively performing in various clubs all over the city and often also elsewhere. Pavel is known for his specific "whatever" approach to djing where he rarely prepares his material and rather leaves it for the magic of the moment. You can usually hear him spin tracks ranging from zero to around 140 bpm while keepin' it in various moods of ambient, house, techno, breaks, trance and what nots. For this show he reached for some fresh material & favourites, keeping it pacing around 125 bpm with taste of deeper house moods & little bit of trance vibes.

For hours #17 we invited our Czech fellow PDCH to contribute his musical ideas to our little site. Soon after he started djing, he quickly became a constant player in the nightlife of Brno and Prague. Depending on the occasion, he shows a broad range of different genres, from ambient to jazz to techno and one can also hear a certain influence of german house in his dj-sets.

Recorded at his home in the south moravian area, PDCHs mix is like a portrayal of those beautiful landscapes: spheric pads accompanied by hypnotising drum rhythms. An exceptional compilation of modern deep house with a sweet touch of melancholy.
