Disquiet Junto Project 0670: Right of Way
The Assignment: Music for turn signals.

With an indicator, we either want to turn only left or only right, but in my head it was always left or right within the same indicator. So I added some undecided strings. And because life has many surprises in store that don't want to fit into the constant back and forth, these one too.

buried deep in the mix are two morse code patterns playing two separate ride cymbals --

left channel: "resident evil"
right channel: "a secure place"

as to the track, it's a mashup of two "resident evil 2" tracks - "secure place (save room)" and "ada's theme". there are also nods to bjork's track "play dead" and the guitar work of the cure. i went for a motoric beat to hold things together, before fading out with a sample from a company called "Ethereal 2080" (ds_bitter_sweet_textured_piano_loop_80_dm_wet")
