From 18th December, 2021 - ROTATION - Live from Monarch in San Francisco shared decks with David Harness and Jayvi Velasco, while in the lounge, DJ Proof and Ivan Ruiz worked the one and twos with Funk/Soul/Disco sets...this is my set which includes a fair amount of "classics" so, if you're in that listening mode, this should quench your thirst...also featuring a few recent releases to round out my set...and I'll say this - playing vinyl presents that something-something that is distinct and different from programming digital sets...it's not an elitist thing and I can't really explain it any better but it is certainly a unique experience...could be the actual handling of those plastic platters - maybe?? High Groovin Sessions 05/22

What a night at SET Action Stage in L'Aquila! Amazing setup at the club, sound system, crowd and everything. One of the best gigs from my ITALIA TOUR 2014, it's definitely very worthy to be on the podcast. At this party I started my set with something kind of dark and moody, then slowly building up the energy to the next level. Only with the right combination of the club and crowd lets me do the right job.

Enigmatic FENNEC aka @fennecsound is responsible for one of our fave 2023 house releases – the Nice Work EP. 

And now we’re presenting a HOT guest mix in anticipation of NICE WORK 2. We’ve had it on repeat for a week now. It keeps us reaching for Shazam constantly.

A DJ and producer since 2014, Austin’s Fennec draws on influences like The Avalanches, DJ Koze, and Moodymann to craft chopped-up, loopy dance music with a smile. The mix here is an amalgamation of these influences & draws from the not-so-obvious pockets of 90’s house to create a joyful, energetic DJ journey. 

Mix also includes a preview of the forthcoming Nice Work 2: “One For Me” is the second to last song. Nice Work 2 will be out March 1st.
