"Towards The Light" is the next piece in the percussive series of work being created by Sean Botha (H.S. Botha). The piece came together using a series of samples and synth sounds which creates motion and an immersive expanse for the listener. The humming sound in the piece was used to illustrate light and the percussion drives the piece towards its end. 

The inspiration for the work came from Hanz Zimmer and Ludovico Einaudi, specifically the layering effect created in the piece. The music offers a sense of resolve and hope of what is to come. In the same breath an element of the unknown can be found hidden amongst the sounds. Sean's work is expanding and taking on qualities of not only fusion and contemporary elements but also a sense of presence and mystery. I am an artist musician living in Vancouver British Columbia Canada.

Wesley J. Cathey is a Multi-Instrumentalist who created the Metal Project "The Tragedy Canvas" in 2014 and the Spiritual Pop/Rock Project "Greywork" in 2020. In 2023, he released his first electronic album.

It's a blessing to be able to create music and if someone enjoys my work, that's icing on the cake! All blessings come from God.

As a retired DOD Civil Service worker, I have time to record some. I have been recording at home sice around 1990 and some of my tracks are very old.  I‘ve had 50+ years in bands playing music of many types. I still play the club scene 3 to 4 times a month. Life is good!

I'm a Guitarist who likes to write, record and sing many styles of music. Please check out my tracks. I'm also enjoying the occasional collaborations.  Meeting some good friends on here and continuing to grow. Thank you for listening!
