Nocturne

Composed with shortwave, long wave and UHF and VLF field recordings in Burdujeni Sat, near Suceava, Romania during artistic residency at Zidul de Hartie. Special shout out to Dan Prodan, for the ancestral house and the apples. This excerpt is drawn from an iteration of the composition concept realized on the cusp of the Harvest Moon of 2025 in Poznan with additional spontaneous spectral audio and synthesizer which amounts to one full 69 minute piece which will be released by Akashic Records on Bandcamp some time next week after it is divided into smaller tracks. Enjoy the warp of our planet's space time continuum in the fun-house mirror of the ionosphere as bounced back through radio waves.

In a shattered world of washed out sounds and faded memories. Where dusks and twilights linger, and midnights stay.

We knew from the beginning we wanted to make something different than just a traditional remix compilation. 'Reunion' is more like a companion piece, a coda to 'Dusk Union'. It contains completely deconstructed and rethought pieces recorded from 'Dusk Union' sessions. We wanted to make an album that can take on different lives when played soft or played loud. It is a record that attempts to display nostalgia and the beauty in things that are worn and decayed. Most of this material was produced with overprocessed and overdriven guitars, bathed in hypnotic layers of distortion - the cover art pretty much reflects the sound on 'Reunion'. We hope you'll enjoy this rendition of 'Dusk Union' as much as we enjoyed making it.

Mer de Revs - A study in deliberately soothing textures designed to give the listener space to find stillness and collapse into rest - late night lullabies.

How To Disappear Completely presents Mer de Revs, the 1st installment of sleep music. Almost ninety minutes of new music composed and recorded over twelve month period (a song per month), last year. Recording this album we wanted to keep it as simple as possible, using minimal amount of gear as possible. We genuinely appreciate your support, and hope you enjoy the new music. As always, thanks for listening. More volumes of Mer de Revs are likely to appear in the future.
