I recorded this jam enjoying immersive sound using my Supperware headtracker modded headphones, however the audio for this video is a binaural rendering of the original Ambisonic performance. A version in 3rd-order ambisonics [Ambix] of this performance is available by request for anyone interested in hearing the 3D version through any multi-speaker sound system or with head tracking enabled headphones.

I used Envelop for Live plugins in Ableton for the spatial effects and decoding of this liveset. While performing I was monitoring using normal studio headphones modded with a headtracker from Supperware, as well as recording the whole performance in Ableton Live. When I was done, I created a third order ambisonic [.ambix] file from the recording of my performance using the Envelop for Live master bus and brought that .ambix file into Reaper to master it with the IEM Multiband Compressor and then bounce a binaural version using SPARTA AmbiBIN.

This is the long-coming 2.0 version of this live improvised ambisonic setup, and I'm really feeling it's coming into its own now. Can't wait to for more live immersive sound explorations with this rig!

Dear creatures,

We are still overwhelmed and find it difficult to put our happiness into words. The conclusion of the summer in Europe with our beloved @mysticcreatures was simply fantastic. The location and the sound were breathtaking, and the festival season couldn't have ended any better than with our friends and family. A big thank you to all the helpers, dancers, and organizers who made this festival one of our absolute favorites.

Napayari [Huichol] “my heart.” It's the word that symbolizes deep feelings and the importance of the heart as a source of love and wisdom.

A year before 2023 I was healing the remains of a broken heart on the dance floor in Berlin. A year later on that same date in the same city I would be turning 30 and celebrating love in its pure aspect.
In difficult times many of us have found a safe place in music and having the opportunity to share it with an audience that has always made me feel safe and free is another level of gratitude. Thanks for the hugs at the end, I hope we can dance again sooon..
