We perceive spaces in three dimensions. The dimensions of a visually perceived object can be described with absolute values, whereas the acoustic space knows no absolute dimension, no Archimedian point. There is only relation.
The presence and absence of sound allows us to follow the traces left by the sounding. The space itself is still. It is its content that brings it to our attention. We can record traces of space, as we can create synthetic spaces, unreal and untranslatable to the visual. Space reflects on its content. It resonates with it and ultimately creates a vanishing impression of an atmosphere. The compilation „Spaces" brings a selection of dark, but sweet spaces filled with emotional departures to the attentive listener.

Ka:lu - Time Is Now

It's been a while since I published a self-made track. I'm a musician, but I'm not a great audio engineer, which makes me shy when it comes to publishing tracks. But this year I'm starting to get rid of unnecessary fears and shyness. This is my sound. In these sounds are my messages. It may not sound so professional, but I'd rather dig up the buried giant, than let it sleep forever. Otherwise, there might come a time when no one knows what's underneath anymore. 
I hope that in this year 2020, many new songs will rise to the surface :) 
The title of the song comes from the book of the same name by Kazuo Ishiguro, who protected me and gave me light this year.
