Hailing from Croatia, Lab Personnel is a musical collaboration turned collective and label between many like-minded artists such as Goran Lautar (aka Neon Lies), Jasmin Mahmić (aka Le Chocolat Noir, Fiume & more), Luka Kurjan (aka Man of Cloth), Marijan Katić, Nikola Kos (aka Ikonal) and Saša Rajković (aka Zarkoff, part of Sumerian Fleet, part of Neugrau & more). Over the years, they would occasionally meet for and record lengthy sessions of improvisational music. 'Marked for Disassembly' is their latest output.

This time, deep within the skeletal remains of an abandoned chemical processing plant, eight of their members captured the disquieting essence of a world suspended between haunting melodies and forgotten industry. Immersed in an atmosphere of palpable musical anxiety, their machines oozed up a sonic alchemy of experimental EBM where strange syncopated drums meet with eerie acid lines and gooey textures.

"Marked for Disassembly" is set to be released on Mar 20th across all digital platforms, accompanied by a beautiful UV printed cassette.

Oscillating between eerie atmospheres and funky beats, the artist constructs an enigmatic sonic landscape, evoking a sense of hiding in the shadows while emitting smoke screens. From electro to techno and breakbeat, the eight-track album titled "Counterfeit" is set for release on March 29th, available on both tape and digital platforms.

Recorded and produced by Johan Skugge, half of Harlem (Veyl, Body Musick), the album originates from Palermo, Italy. Skugge, also recognised for his release on Clan Destine Records from Glasgow, UK, brings his distinct sound to "Counterfeit." Tooflez returns with their latest serving, the "Bass Control’’ remix LP, exploring the different dimensions in the multi-faceted universe of ELECTRO.

The original cut was cooked up by label head-chef ANDI A. Once upon a lock-down, when humans had only machines for company… a Juno 1, an old Yamaha groove box, a glitchy noisy synthesizer and a cheap microphone transpired ‘Bass Control’ into space and time.

Never intended to be released, 3diz asked Andi A. for the stems one day, and the rest is h̴i̴s̴t̴o̴r̴y̴ the f u t u r e.

ANDI A. delivers the original on the A1. Timeless electro with a dystopian air 'to it, perfectly fit for building energy and suspense.

The first remix is from Indigo Plateaux, showcasing their distinctive sound, deconstructing the original to a peak-time technoizoid banger.

The Detroit Electro veteran, DJ Di’jital, delivers a bass-heavy, deep dive into the underground; proving once again why no one does it like Detroit does it.

On the B1. we have Viikatory dishing out saturated 808’s and snappy acid lines, spaced out arps and a distinctive echoing assurance.

3diz pushes the bass into a distorted weighty nastiness, leaving nobody immune to the infections ‘bass face’ syndrome.

And finally, the sophisticated production of Echowoman marries the spacey intergalactic sounds with warmer drum tones found on earth.
