Optimo Music proudly presents “Super Conductor”, a double album by Blotter Trax, out June 23rd.
The collaborative project between techno titan Magda, serial underground aggravator Jay Ahern (aka T.B Arthur) and bassist Hannes Strobl, Blotter Trax’s debut album is a pulsating, thrill-in-minute ride that charts the ongoing dancefloor evolution of a band whose days of mystery and mischief are now a distant memory.
While rooted in electro and acid, the album is impressively low-slung, stylish and funky, with nods towards Blotter Trax’s mutual love of Arthur Russell, early ‘80s NYC downtown disco, leftfield new-wave pop and flash-fried punk-funk.

Long-time contributor to the bustling Antwerp music scene as the co-organiser of Feiern and as part of the Sunday Matinee collective (known to all for kick-starting a vibrant open air scene in the city), Laurens is a name that will definitely ring a bell for any Belgium nightlife regular.

Responsible for bringing names such as Move D, Mike Huckaby and Jus-Ed to Antwerp and with a carefully curated sound of his own, Laurens’ reputation quickly started to reach beyond his hometown. Turning heads with his characteristically deep and strongly dancefloor-oriented sets, he’s had the chance to share the decks with some of the scene’s most iconic names such as Ricardo Villalobos and Laurent Garnier and became a resident for Ampere in 2015.

Now having played at some of Belgium’s most forward-thinking clubs & parties and with a couple international gigs under his belt, Laurens’ career as a DJ and organiser is showing no signs of slowing down.
