We're comin' strong out the gates for 2016 featuring a podcast from Northwest local legend, Jon Lee. A perfect mix of old school acid and modern day house thumpers.  Lee co-founded the iconic deep house label Tilted Records in the 90's and is planning a relaunch in the very near future.  He'll be joining Innerflight this Saturday at the Monkey Loft for the January edition of DROP in celebration of his birthday, along with international ballers Urulu and Noah Pred.  Rounding thangs out nicely will be Innerflight's own Night Train.  

We mean business with this lineup.... Definitely not one to be missed!

Best night of Burning Man 2018! Live from the BAAAHS at Comfort & Joy then off into the Playa till well past dawn....
The night included a stellar line-up featuring SpaceOtter, (myself), Nark, a surprise set by Tim Sweeney, Kodemul, Jennifer Cardini, and Mr. TC. I was already so tired at the beginning of the night after having slept only a couple hours. I put my body on auto pilot and danced the night away. It was a magnificent night!

Midnight in a Perfect World [KEXP]

Hyasynth, also known as Karen Baskett, is a Belize-based DJ who fell in love with house music as a club dancer attending raves in college. She learned how to mix records once she moved to Manhattan in 2000, began getting her own gigs and establishing her deep, soulful, disco-influenced sound in NYC clubs, then she moved to Seattle in 2004 where she started an all-female group called Grace Sessions with Erin O’Connor-Drew at See Sound Lounge. 
 
Over the years Hyasynth has been a member of the De La Creme and Bottom Forty crews, she frequently plays Seattle clubs as a special guest with other crews, her mixes have been featured on radio stations such as KEXP, 107.7 theEnd, and 89.5, and she is the newest resident DJ with Flammable Sundays at Chop Suey, the longest running weekly house party on the west coast. 
 
Professionally she recently retired as a performer and dance instructor, so rhythm and musical timing are innate. Now Karen is a Certified Ayurveda, Yoga + Sound Practitioner who uses house music to help in the healing process. She is the founder of the AHA Life Lab, a wellness studio in Placencia, Belize. 

Hyasynth is known for her energetic and passionate performances that are sure to lift your spirits and get you moving! She is invigorated by the sense of community found on a dancefloor and enjoys sharing her favorite music with others. Catch her joyful sets when you can!
