À bout de l'automne (2018–2019) for alto flute, geomungo, harp, and string quartet was commissioned by Robert J. Fouser for his photography exhibition in Korea and to honor the memory of his late father Robert Fouser (1928–1984) and his late friend Eric V. Johnson (1962–2015). This piece was composed with much respect for the great composer Toru Takemitsu (1930–1996), using his language of composition. It was recorded in Seoul Recording Studio and Velet Recording Studio under the baton of the composer himself on July 22 and July 29, 2019
