There are very few Djs in Vancouver that have carved out a piece of the pie for themselves while also managing not to stray from their own very unique sound. 

C-Star is one of them. 

From the early days, she has been known to bring to the dance floor power and energy that creates such a unique environment of give and take, where dancers are able to feed off her energy, and her off of them to create an infinite loop of ecstatic energy. 

This mix is in classic C-Star key, in that it brings in multiple dimensions of drivey, peak-time techno without ever letting the energy fall flat. 

This mix was long time coming, and I am absolutely chuffed to have her on, and shift the energy of Hyperbolic Chamber towards techno.

Beyond the decks, PixelFilter helps curate Hyperbolic Chamber, a platform dedicated to championing raw, genre-bending sounds and rising underground artists. 

Every set is engineered for movement — hypnotic rhythms, deep cuts, and an atmosphere that pulls you in and doesn't let go.

Dose. is the multifaceted DJ & Music project from partners Max & Taylor. Their musical style flows through genre bending Techno that fuses sounds from the Punk, Disco, & Trance eras...into what they call, Sluthouse.

Their event curation also focuses on elevating the way in which people experience dance culture. Dose. expands beyond the scope of traditional expectations; choosing to create unique and visceral Immersive Art Experiences. Their signature style explores the notion of events as Contemporary Art. Through cultivating these experiences Dose. uses their platform to create social commentary, amplify safer spaces & harm reduction, instil conversation, and transmit a conscious message.

Diversifying the stage is an absolute must for Dose. Within both their Music transmissions & Event Curation, it is their strong mandate to always have gender balance & equal representation. They consistently strive to represent fem folk, womxn, & queer Artists.
