Having rapidly ascended the DJ ranks thanks to his impeccable taste, Vincent Lemieux does not limit his musical diet to a single genre and this live cut from our last Sol Asylum at Club der Visionaere is the ideal example. For Franco, music is one of life’s vital necessities, granting him intimate access to higher states of consciousness. The sounds are deep and rich, underpinned by sprawling geographies and ancient narratives. Soft syncopations pulsate forward, as tinges of electronica seep into a landscape of organics and flora. 

Franco comes from a long lineage of family musicians, imbued with the sound of music since the beginning. Exploration of truly eclectic and divergent influences spanning krautrock, free jazz, psychedelia, experimental rock and many more, resulted in experimenting with various forms of music practices. His deeply spiritual relationship with music nurtures the worldly sounds emanating from his creativity, a balanced aesthetic that is guided by trust and the relinquishing of predetermined outcomes. The result is a space of dreamtime liminality and subtle ceremonial motifs.
