Charlotte's energetic presence and proggy sound has made its way into almost every club in Melbourne and is making a significant contribution to her community through her events series and radio show, Deuce, co-run with Ambedo. this little slice beyond her usual into the experimental realm is something very special; expect abstract, leftfield sounds with rhythms of the drum & bass, dubstep, techno and breaks varieties.

矯激 [ Radical ] - Tools II EP ( PREVIEWS  )

Sleepy Insomniac’s mix weaves in and out of hazy and sweaty dreams. Waking up, you follow a beat sprinkled with bubbling, spiraling, vibrating astral elements. 

Throughout, he bridges gaps between classic breakbeat rhythms and characteristics of progressive psychedelic techno, trance, and electro. As the dream develops he dives deeper into trance territory with winding acidic melodies and echoing percussion, creating an atmosphere both futuristic and oldschool. The temperature rises, as electro-infused breakbeats build tension and increase the speed limit.

This heightened energy fades into a soft hypnosis to close out the mix.

@sleepyxinsomniac is a DJ based out of New Delhi, India, with a penchant for hazy, dreamy and tripped-out electronic music. With a background in computer science, he is usually immersed in projects that meld music, software and technology. 

From 2019 to 2021, he was a resident at New Delhi based online radio station, @boxoutfm , producing the show Lucid Dreams which introduced listeners to an amalgamation of new wave and old school euphoric stompers and smoke-and-haze melodies. He has also been a frequent face at various global radio stations and podcasts, producing his signature hypnotic mixes for @rinsefm , @ worldwide-fm , @kioskradio , @future-intel , @refugeworldwide and more. Lately he’s active in the local scene, regularly playing events at venues around New Delhi.

Time Theft

Squidbrain lands on W133, spicing up your summer break with some breaky tunes! The Berlin via Philly artist presents 4 originals on his digital EP entitled "Time Theft".

Kicking off the EP is "Zweimal Vierundsiebzig", a bouncy, slightly spooky roller that turns into a ravy weapon. Fun fact: The track got its name from Squidbrain's usual; 2 orders of number 74 at a Vietnamese takeaway restaurant.

Next, the EP's title track "Time Theft" comes in, a grimy track with nasty vocal samples, thick bass and swirling drones.

The third track, "Dram", is a tension-building, shifting and angular bass tune that plays with loads of crazy sounds twirling around your head.

Last but not least, we have "Levo", which starts off with distorted guitar-like sounds and dissonant mystical melodies. As the track develops, it gets heavier and builds energy before bursting open with striking melodies and chopped-up vocals.

The artwork photography is by Philipp Roth, and the EP is released on all digital platforms on 9th August 2024.

Another Wednesday another Moodus TV! Four our 4th mix, we bring you @heavyskin_ aka Monty, one of the most unique people we've met during our London adventures. You may have caught them in some of our party recap pictures from our last event in London.

They're a London-based DJ with a deep passion for psychedelic dance music. Deeply rooted in the underground music community, they've been shaped by the conflict between city life and forest parties.
