Marco Hidalgo a.k.a: MRK GRIM is a DJ and Producer born in the Dominican Republic, based in Montréal, Canada. From a very young age, he was always passionate about music and arts in general. As for 2020, he kept working very hard in music production and after a whole year of countless hours in the studio, he got signed by some independent labels in 2021. In 2022 he made is debut with his Dies Irae EP on [R]3volution Uncod3d, we're sure it will not go unnoticed.

DJ Sodeyama readies ‘Makura EP’ for Radio Slave’s Rekids Special Projects.

Running the Arpa label from Japan since 2011, DJ Sodeyama has been actively involved in house and techno since the early 90s. Releasing music on labels such as Dynamic Reflection, Children of Tomorrow, Quartz and more under his The People In Fog alias, DJ Sodeyama now arrives on Radio Slave’s hard-hitting techno imprint Rekids Special Projects for his first appearance on the label.

Leading the release is ‘Catura’, bringing gentle flowing pads and gorgeous twinkling synths before the trippy, acid-tinged ‘Kumbhira’ takes a darker turn, sending the listener down a polyrhythmic rabbit hole. ‘Makura’ ups the tempo, drawing for sharp and fast percussion hits amongst ghostly atmospherics, an atmosphere matched by the deep and rolling ‘Pajira’, before ‘Sandira’ closes the release with a moody heads-down track complete with hypnotic synthesis and quirky FX.

Bristol based DJ & producer edetto tees up his third release for Eats Everything & Andres Campo’s EI8HT imprint. A trio of pure fire bangers are served up on the ‘Noise Level’ EP, and further cements this young producer’s reputation as ‘one to watch’.

Lead track ‘Noise Level’ is a pounding and darkly tinged club track, bouncing toms and jarring tones come rolling over its granite hard beats with brooding intensity. The distorted kicks of ‘Build Mode’ literally bounce off the walls, as edetto turns in another techno slayer, whilst ‘Watch Your Step’ closes the EP in fine fettle, as industrially charged drums stomp effortlessly as twisted synth refrains are deployed.
