Nach der ersten Compilation und einem darauffolgenden Sampler bringt das Label @ton-t-pferei im November 2016 seine erste EP raus. Schöpfer der vier-Track-starken EP namens „Promise You“ ist @ben-boehmer, der sich meist seine Inspiration durchs Klavierspielen einholt: „Ob bei mir zu Hause oder bei meinen Schülern, die ich unterrichte: Es ist mein absolutes Lieblingsinstrument, was sich der ein oder andere, der meine Musik kennt, vielleicht schon denken kann. Durch meinen Klavierlehrer oder auch Jazz-Guru wurde ich schnell in die Welt des Improvisierens eingeführt. Das hilft ungemein, auf neue Melodien zu stoßen. PREMIERE: Alfie - The Escapist (Outer Zone)

Known as a great nation of space travellers, there is no doubt that one of the hottest new nudisco acts from Russia will rise like a rocket. Hot Hot Hawk’s „Space Traveller“ has all there ought to be in terms of catchiness, inventiveness and sytle. Sasha Butakov and Ilya Potapov  have already succeeded in founding grateful listeners in a range of Western webzines, which is usually is a mission impossible when you live in a remote area like Kurgan. But quality and the internet made it possible that they joined ventures with the The Robot Scientists who have already released a remix for The Sweeps „Optimistic Melancholic“ (EDR 04).  They create an imaginative 80s movie soundtrack which has not been filmed yet. The romanticism is full in effect by telling a story of a cosmonaut finding solace in space after splitting up with his lover. The musical transition works by a huge chorus that has airplay potential – or we’d rather say space-play-potential.
