Just mention 'Terrace' in a techno environment and soon someone else will shout "pioneer!" As Florence, Terrace (@terrace) and (half of) Acid Junkies, Brabant-based producer Stefan Robbers was at the flying centre of Dutch techno in the early 1990s.

Perks is Robbers' fifth EP for Delsin in a relatively short time. On the one hand, it contains his signature sound: melancholic melodies and complex drum patterns wrapped in outstanding production; on the other, Perks surprises on many fronts.

For starters, the overall vibe is a lot more sombre, the chosen route much more experimental. Take 'Model A', a dreamy, 12 minute-long meandering epic that nods to the kraut-infused electronica of Tangerine Dream and Cluster but at the same time proudly carries the techno DNA.

A fascinating return of a true pioneer.

Todos los temas fueron seleccionados en una tarde lluviosa de sábado, de final de verano, para ser unidos en un domingo todavía mas lluvioso. Este set una buena metáfora del fin del verano, del fin de una de mis fases, y de los cambios que la vida nos presenta. A veces podemos elegir cuando las cosas cambian, y a veces simplemente tenemos que abrazar los cambios. Espero que estas canciones lleguen a los oídos de quien necesite esta paz como lo han hecho conmigo. Agradecimientos especiales a DJF, que ademas de sonar uno de sus temas, es responsable directo de que tenga la mitad de los tracks de este set. Muchos de los discos que puedes escuchar, son algunas de las recomendaciones de "Jaime este disco no te lo puedes no llevar, es una puta pasada" y cuanta razón tenía. Veelargo es un productor de música electrónica español que reside en Polonia (Cracovia) desde 2016, después de haber vivido en Inglaterra dos años.

Empezó a interesarse por la música siendo adolescente y su pasión por ella le llevó primero a pinchar y gradualmente a producir. Sus influencias son muy variadas y van desde el IDM, Ambient, Electro o Techno, al Krautrock, EBM o Post Punk.

Para Veelargo, componer música electrónica es sinónimo de libertad absoluta y lo considera como un constante proceso de aprendizaje.

Inspired by the evolution of the early 90's electronic scene and the flood of music acts that swept Detroit, Chicago, Birmingham and Bristol, he has set in motion his rebellious creativity by dropping underground dj sets for the past decade. He started by mixing CDs but his passion for analog sound led him to build a respectable vinyl collection.

Zorz is resident dj of Pi Electronics and Prima Materia and a member of the Reform and Sleazy Beats & Dirty Vibes collectives.
In recent years he curates his internet radio show called Creatures of Light for LYL from Lyon, France where he shares his personal taste and inspirations in music. With his mate Kondaktor, started a new music label called Untag recently, focusing on experimental music.
