For the track, I tried to go for a sort of shmup-like action theme, maybe later in the game where its getting a bit more tense.

I always liked tropical hue but the original song quality is not incredibly great. So using sampling and a lot of attempts I was able to make one that goes harder than the original. I wouldn't call it perfect but I'm still trying out new hardware to get better at mixing in general.

Fear the Hurricane Hound's wrath! Lately I've been blessed with a lot of commissions for me to compose music for some small indie game projects and Youtube channels and I have a lot of things that I'm excited to share with you on top of all of the remixes that I have planned for the upcoming summer months! This particular track is a boss theme for a character called Shipudd I did for my buddy Ryan for his programming courses final project! The idea of the game is an RPG-style boss battle with WarioWare-style microgames thrown in to deal damage, which is an incredible idea that I really hope is expanded into a full game someday! Sweet, Sweet Grapes (Kirby's Adventure - Grape Garden Remix)

The first time I attempted to arrange this I didn't bother putting in the actual .sf2 MS gave me like an idiot, so I ended up mistaking those 2 backing kalimbas (the 'bells', as he called them) and their respective echo channels as being totally different instruments. This NEW arrangement though, when I got it to sound-- well, *pretty much* like this but with [101] Judge's Elec instead of [48] Harp-- he literally said 'he can't wait to see the posted SoundCloud version', which bodes incredibly well for this song in my mind.

Source is *presumably* that DS port, but it's one of those "BGM_03" type MIDIs that comes with its own .sf2 anyhow, so it's an official source, at the very least.

Update: a bunch of mixing stuff, mostly volume, with a dash of changing the center-panned 30,2 to 113,2 after the initial fade-in.
