To celebrate the imminent release of the new Sun Gong 12"  we're pleased to share this edit of the second side by Benjamin Tierney. 

Benjamin Tierney is a Los Angeles-based recording and mix engineer who has worked on widely acclaimed albums by Kamasi Washington (The Epic), Flying Lotus (Cosmogramma) and Gaslamp Killer. Together with Carlos Niño he worked on mixing and editing Laraaji's extensive summer 2016 NYC jams recorded with Davey Jewell into the tracks that appear on Sun Gong and Bring On The Sun. 

Sun Gong is a major new self-contained work by the celestial music practitioner. An experiment with gong microtonalties processed through various electronic effects. The results are unlike any music he has made before - two side-long long-form pieces that evoke the sound of a shimmering metallic eternal wave. 

This strictly limited edition clear vinyl LP raises the curtain for the more extensive double album Bring On The Sun which will be released two weeks later.

Le Red Bull Music Academy Festival Paris réunit sur scène et sur mixtape le producteur américain The Alchemist et la fine fleur du rap franco-belge. 
Au cours de l'été, les MC's belges Roméo Elvis, Caballero et JeanJass, Cool Connexion, le duo de rap parisien formé par Jazzy Bazz et Esso, DEEN BURBIGO de l'Entourage, Heskis du collectif 5 Majeur, Lomepal, un autre MC parisien habitué du Paris-Bruxelles, le rappeur montreuillois Prince Waly, Gracy Hopkins, le rappeur-producteur 3010 et son collectif Eddie Hyde viendront, entre autres, poser au Red Bull Studios Paris sur des instrumentaux originaux produits par The Alchemist à partir de samples dénichés sur des disques français chinés par le beatmaker californien dans les disquaires de la capitale. 
Réunis sur scène, ils interpréteront le contenu de cette mixtape exclusive, dévoilée courant septembre, lors d'un concert unique au Trabendo.
