Material head honcho and purveyor of versatile, percussive dancefloor shakers for the likes of Get Physical, Saved, Snatch! Toolroom, Suara, Nurvous, and Lapsus Music - Mihalis Safras (@mihalissafras) is one of the most charted artists on Resident Advisor and deservedly so.

‘Acido EP’ sees Mihalis showing his chops with two original tracks, ‘Acido’ and ‘JFK’. First up on remix duty we have North-Eastern up-and-comer Cristoph (Noir Music, DFTD (Defected), Suara, Materialism and Underground Audio), who delivers a pulsing and hypnotic remix of ‘Acido’.

Stepping to the plate to provide a tough, no-nonsense remix of ‘JFK’ we have Tom Flynn, whose releases in 2014 on labels including Hot Creations, Dirtybird, and Circus Recordings amassed a wealth of support from the likes of Steve Lawler, Guy Gerber, Jamie Jones, Carl Cox, and Richie Hawtin.

Previous releases from Mihalis Safras have received support from Sven Vath, Nicole Moudaber, Kaiserdisco, Nic Fanciulli, Alan Fitzpatrick, Ida Engberg, Nick Warren, Mendo, and Edu Imbernon.

"Dirtybird artists meet Toy Tonics for the second time. First Ardalan and now Sacha Robotti and ZDS join the German label for a collaborative EP of two tracks of quirky bass influenced techno.

Sacha has a rich musical history. He studied music with none other than KARL BARTOS from Kraftwerk. He has many solo works out under his own name (including a recent collaboration with Claude VonStroke and the massive 'The Major' feat DJ Rush). He has also found time to be half of the Berlin based duo Robosonic.

Nat Self aka ZDS is a London based producer who has been fortunate enough to have played many of the worlds best clubs (including a residency at Panorama Bar) and to have had out a long string of music on a multitude of great labels including : Dirtybird, This and That, and Classic to name a few.

This EP should surprise many of their old fans and make them a lot of new friends for sure. Check the EP out!"

Storming his way back onto Drumcode Luigi Madonna closes off the Summer with a four track smasher that will see him welcome in Autumn with a bang. Each track contains the solid, raw drums that are the backbone to each track Luigi has conjured up. With a brooding undertone, the simplicity found in each track gives the lead lines and ideas more space to breath, which overall creates a unique and charismatic submission that can only be found from the Italian.

Mark Reeve presents his second release on Drumcode, ‘Run Back’, a four track EP crammed with heavy hitting kick drums and his signature big basslines. Seth Troxler’s Play It Say It is a label thats used to a banger or two. The label’s ethos is pretty much just that, strictly bangers, with every release aimed straight at the dance floor and the next release is of course no different. The Acid EP does exactly what it says on the tin, venturing down a path that is near and dear to i-D’s heart, and that is of course acid house.

The EP comes complete with acid-laced tracks from Detroit dons Ataxia, Giacomo & Michelangelo and this hefty cut from an artist returning to the label, The Mekanism. It's big it's bad and its got that classic 303 goodness that will always hold a special place in our heart.
