AniMe has cemented her place at the forefront of the Hardcore movement with her mixing skills, high-energy performances and music productions, serving as a global ambassador for Hardcore music.

In 2023, she released her fourth solo album, a fusion of hard styles that elevated her reputation to new heights within the hard dance scene. 
AniMe’s sets are defined by versatility and creativity, showcasing her unique style as she effortlessly navigates hard genres at speeds ranging from 160 to over 200 BPM.

In 2025, she launched her own label, ABSOLUTE RECORDS a creative sanctuary for artists who embrace her bold vision of distortion and fearless individuality. Each artist on the label stands out with a signature sound that’s unmistakably their own.

At 15 years old his DJ journey had began although his love for dance music was born years before, at the age of 11 he found Hardcore & never looked back. His passion for dance music grew & before  long he saved up himself for a set of Numark decks & a cheap mixer, going on to teach himself how to play & dedicated his time & money to his art, it was clear by age 18 it was a matter of time before a night club came calling.

Trance music was the biggest influence & is still such an important part of his sound - the foundations were laid!! 

After playing a few gigs at a local club in a town outside Aberdeen, The Craigmile hotel was the first venue he played at. At age 21, DJ EGG had now found Hard house & quickly became part of the scene. Meeting influential people who would go on to give him a residency, 

He became a regular at Taste night club then went on to run nights every weekend. Taste was a real learning curve & a baptism of fire. 

Setting out to bring cutting edge music & DJs to Aberdeen has been his mission & still is - he introduced Technikal, Barry Diston, Paul Glazby, Ilogik - & many others. With a mind set that is all about the music, he continues to seek out the sound that will change & evolve Aberdeen's clubbing mantra - not always easy but it is a worthy cause.

Sticking to a mantra - proudly recording over 60 different mixes with different tracks making sure each is unique to itself  TUNES ARE A DJ'S LIFE BLOOD!!!!

With many tough, heartbreaking & difficult times along side amazing dream come true happy moments, his DJ path has been testing & really defined him as a person in so many ways, a fresh outlook was required to inject new life into those creative attributes, after a year or so away from it, he is ready rock!!!

The dawn of a new era with more cool grooves, nicely formed beats, melodic breakdowns, chunky vibes, cutting edge bass lines, uplifting energy, slamming power mixes, cuts, fx, spin backs & digging into more styles, tring new things but with a different outlook & healthier state of mind, his musical journey is now going down a different path.
