Event by event, we build our Kommuna of like-minded people. A friendly and respectful space where the quest for musical excellence is the main priority. We enjoy inviting and collaborating with talents from every path of life! From young and up and coming gems to legends from the early days of the music we serve.

Our events have ranged from raves and after parties in secret spaces (villas, warehouses…), through vinyl markets and charity events, to club residencies and our own NEST festival

Angel Mercado aka Kronika is a core member of Los Angeles based Radio Station/Record Label and Worldwide collective "Soulection" and a familiar presence in the Los Angeles music scene.

Through her soundcloud mixes (or as she playfully calls them “Mixtures”), Kronika has become a trusted source for global audience interested in learning about new artists and over all discovering quality music.

Kronika is known for her vast musical knowledge, truthfully nurtured from her early years growing up in the Philippines. Exquisite and Eccentric in taste, Kronika understands and lives artistry.  She commands and engages her listeners in a musical journey that "flows like water."  Her transitions are so swift and smooth you forget they are even “transitions.”  

Kronika's mixes and live sets are unpredictable.  Her energy is contagious, which makes the experience of seeing her live all the more powerful and memorable.

Kronika is a powerhouse of musical knowledge, constantly sharing her divine energy with the world.

Preeminent Improvisational Vocalist, Author, Producer, GRAMMY-nominated musician, and multi-disciplinary fine artist is a 2023 Guggenheim Fellow for Music Composition (the first emcee to be granted a Guggenheim for music composition), Halcyon Arts Fellow, and Nicholson Arts Fellow,  has been a TEDxWDC presenter, speaking on “collaboration and the creative economy”.and has served as Artist in Residence at Music Meeting in Nijmegen, NL. He can be heard on over 60 titles spanning: Jazz, Hip Hop, Rock, and R&B.
