Stunned silence filled the metallic halls of the testing grounds in the moments after which a single subatomic particle had ripped through a once-fundamental law of the universe. Within the circuitous track of the cyclotron, an eerie void hung suspended in midair along the particle’s path and seemed to glow and withdraw light from the room all at once. As he recovered from his moment of awe, the single human inhabitant of the testing grounds shouted with glee and pressed his eyes against the glass of the viewing platform, peering forth into the rift that lay open before him.

Seemingly in response to the scientist’s observation, the rift began to glow yet brighter with an entrancing emerald hue. Its shape became distorted, shrinking and contorting down to a zero-point before rebounding outwards again and opening into a wide, ovoid shape. The rift sliced effortlessly through the cyclotron as it expanded, causing the matter of which it was constructed to simply disappear upon contact. As its expansion halted the rift then compressed slightly, stabilizing itself into a perfect two-dimensional circle that floated inexorably within three-dimensional space.

At this point, the emerald-hued circumference of the rift then began to pulsate with accelerating frequency. As the period of this cycle decreased, the scientist began to catch glimpses of something on the other side, a multifaceted mirage of a distant world that was refracted through the rift’s space-time distortion. As he attempted to make sense of the vision before him, the rift emitted a blinding flash that knocked the scientist to his knees and cast him away from the glass of the viewing platform’s walls. When his vision returned, before him loomed a trio of incomprehensible figures that seemed to shift the very essence of their own beings to more closely match his own. For the first time in his life, the scientist knelt before beings from another world, and in the presence of their shifting forms, one thing became eminently clear to him. No biological lifeform could traverse the energies of that rift and survive, and thus it was that the scientist came to the realization that he knelt before alien gods.

LIVEON delivers his CYCLOTRON EP as the follow up to his 2022 single “Crucial//Rapdio”, continuing the undertaking he began therein to burst through the bounds of sonic possibility and synthesize a selection of sounds that is entirely alien to the ears of the EATBRAIN horde. With CYCLOTRON, LIVEON reveals the radical discoveries of his sonic experimentation, which ensure that the tracks within the EP are sure to leave a singular imprint on the ears of listeners worldwide.

A self-described ‘messed up rhythmist’, the
dark and dense musical world and frequencies
of Impak is something which many drum & bass
fans will be familiar with. The individual wave
forms he created always get their own time to
talk. His high levels of bass modulation, as well
as his weird digital textures have drawn in a
global audience which will be waiting for this next release with a keen ear. The international DJ/producer, born out of Spain, explores his digital evolution within each one of his tracks. Technology is the key and his conceptual miscegenation is the tool in which he does this. It’s a way in which he’s explored clubs and festivals in over ten different countries, playing in as many as fifty cities around Europe. His residency in Spain’s Industrial Copera gained him international attention and after releasing on a wide range of record labels, he’s had over twenty releases on the market.
All these numbers are dizzying for an artist, even for one who’s been in the game of production since he was seventeen years old. So, it comes as little surprise that he’d come under the radar of C4C, a genre changing imprint which has been running for over two decades. Having already collaborated with one of its head honchos Optiv, he’s about to unleash his ‘Perceptions’ LP on the C4C imprint.
Featuring ten colossal tracks, from the crashing drum work of ‘Global’, right through to the tech-driven madness of ‘Unhappy End’, Impak goes for the jugular. Collaborations such as Impak and Kung’s ‘Anywhere’, Impak, Optiv and CZA’s ‘Neurons’ and Impact and The Clamps ‘Passengers’ bring a host of other mainstay names into the mix. Whilst standalone records ‘Tremor’ and ‘Mastodon’ continue the harmonic highs and slamming breakdowns which Impak has become renowned for. All-in, the ‘Perceptions’ album is a massive catalogue of work. For it to be made welcome in the home of C4C makes total sense. With their commitment to changing the musical landscape and high-arching production, the combination of C4C and Impak music was a match which they knew would send shockwaves throughout the wider scene.

25 yo DnB Enthusiast - Go dig through my playlists and ignore my old uploads :) 

Former known as Dorian, he created a new project called IAMDOOMED to swap his style from neuro/jumpup to the “deeper” side of Drum and Bass. You should definitely keep an eye on this Austrian all-round talent.

With his early beginnings in producing, he felt that his releases should be put in the limelight. That’s when his career as a DJ started and his tunes began to thrill the masses. Backed by the instant support of the crowd, he jumped at the chance and fittingly  released a Jump up EP as his Debut in 2014: Whore Island EP on Switch! Recordings.

Once he had the ball rolling, one release followed another and several labels scrambled to get a piece of him: His tunes came out on Delta9, DARKMTTR, Viper Recordings, New Playaz, Mainframe Recordings, Innerground Records and so on. As he had built up a reputation, his tracks got supported by well-established names of the DnB scene, like Pendulum, DJ Hype, Friction, S.P.Y, The Prototypes, Annix, DJ Bailey, Rene LaVice, Levela, Roni Size, Heist, and many more.

Always a welcomed face at clubs local or abroad, he himself states that he doesn’t want to nail himself down to specific subgenres, which his diverse supporters are pleased with. This is plainly audible when it comes down to the producer’s œuvre. Certainly an easygoing fellow with a knack for homemade perfectionism, we will surely hear about him in the years to come.
