IAN_X is the DJ production of Ian Summs based in Cape Town, South Africa. He draws on an eclectic blend of influences and love for the dance floor and its energy to craft musical journeys that rezonate future frequencies & calibrate you for immersive energetic performances.

Musically educated at Aufschwung Ost / Stammheim in Kassel, I moved to Berlin at the end of the last century, where I occasionally played some records here (wohlklang@nbi) and there for fun.

Prvi kontakt s elektronskom glazbom ostvario je slušajući kasete acid house-a i trance-a.
Početkom 2000-tih počeo slušati techno, dok se 2002. počinje ozbiljnije baviti takvom vrstom glazbe u suradnji sa prijateljima (Garage Team) Karlovac puštajući techno na ACCELERATION partyima.
