Neoclassical Version (Electro + Instruments + Percussions)

Here is a 3th excerpt from the 4 seasons of Vivaldi that I renamed "Mutations" because the music is in perpetual evolution. 
I also gave a name (in French - An artistic code that you will find easily) with each movement, it is a personal feeling only. I spent a lot of time in these almost 3 minutes, looking for the power of summer that ends. I hope I have not betrayed that unbelievable great Master whom I admire so much.

Meeting @fadysporz on Soundcloud back in 2018 felt like a meeting of soulmates. There is a mutual respect for each other’s work and i wrote the track with room for Fadys heavenly synth work in mind and also with the idea that he joins Cindy and me in the vocal work. With Fady having the ability to ‘read’ the way of the songwriting and harmony construction it was effortless to work together - he is a fantastic musician. Thank you Fady for joining us here!

The guitar I play on this track is my Taylor 714CE - in DADGAD tuning (all tuned down a half step).

A fun collaboration of a song by Willie Dixon, made when my friend Tanya was in her last days of the 14 day quarantine in a hotel in Tasmania. She recorded some drums and finger cymbals on her phone and we stitched this blues classic together. 

A few additions are still needed when we get together in the home studio in person.

This is my first release of 2021 and its a song about missing things we used to be able to do in life.
I have a longing to see live performance again and miss the clubs and venues and of course travel.
We are in danger of entering a cultural apocalypse devoid of live music venues and festivals and tours if this pandemic lasts a long time we must somehow adapt as theres no time to lie down and fade 
away otherwise the music and good times will fade away as just a memory

Welcome to 2024 and thank you for visiting my Soundcloud page. 
It's great to connect with so many talented musicians here on Soundcloud! On this page you'll find my original songs (including 4 albums) and acoustic guitar instrumentals (including 2 EP's), together with various notes about guitars played, tunings, recording etc.

I am in the process of writing my fifth album which I hope to record at some stage during the year..

Musical influences for me have been many and varied including for example Bert Jansch, John Martyn, Bob Dylan, Joni Mitchell, Mark Knopfler, BB King, Jethro Tull, Pink Floyd, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Fleetwood Mac, Fairport Convention, Paul Simon,  JJ Cale, Eric Clapton, Colin Hay and John Mayer.

I am not a musician but music plays a very important role in my creative life! I am an artist/designer and music is my companion and my muse in the long hours I spend working in my studio!
