@user-655561489: Thank you! Not that long actually. It's mostly a single sequence on a Moog DFAM + Mother 32 patch. Those lovely Spitfire choirs more or less writes themselves - They sound gorgeous just hitting some random keys.

Remember Electromancer? I do. This was first released there..

I was aiming for that moment when the night envelops you, comforts you and there’s only it and you in the world. It all turned out strangely optimistic though, which may be slightly at odds with the poem.

Btw, I used Choir for Spitfire Audio’s LABS plugin a lot in this one - It’s a ridiculously good plugin for the price, really (it’s free).

My collaboration with amazing guitarist Jack Oli. It's  history of small boy who decides (together with camel)  to leave village and go to big city. Together they traveled across the desert and meet many dangerous people, but at the end they arrived to big city.

Reading the haiku immediately conjured up a wide variety of associated images and feelings for me. It gave me the strong sense of being an image from some sort of contemporary film noir. The tinted windscreen seemed not only a dark contrast to the neon surroundings, but also suggested to me a division between the watcher and the watched, feelings of isolation or alienation. As I turned the haiku round in my head and pictured the scene, the pattern that starts at 1.45 ish began to accompany my thoughts and I developed the piece from there.

My musical roots are in the late seventies and early eighties - Mostly post punk and new wave.
Main influences are probably bands like Ultravox and Japan, but there has of course been lots of others as well.
