Shakedown was created at Heavy Roc Music recording studios when a group of friends from all over the globe got together for a night, Seja, Stella Mozgawa (Warpaint) and Johnny Mackay (Fascinator). A round robin of instruments, singing + a bottle of whiskey later, and Shakedown was born. Shakedown is the product of good friends getting loose on a hot summers night. There was no end product in mind, only to have fun, hang out, and make music together.

GLINTS is born out of a love for language, luscious sentences, and sincere music. Growing up in Belgium (Antwerp) with a British background proved to be a fertile breeding ground for the creation of an original sound that combines elements of hip-hop, electronic music, and pop. GLINTS is the brainchild of Jan Maarschalk Lemmens. The inciting event however, consisted of meeting and collaborating with producer Jergan Callebaut (VUURWERK) and guitarist/producer Mathias Bervoets. The project sets out to titillate the senses whilst reinstating the importance of poetic quality in lyrics.
