Glamour Hammer is the nom de plum of Swedish-based producer, songwriter and vocalist Adam Jonsson. In the comfort of his home studio, Glamour Hammer swings back and forth between creating dance-oriented disco house and jazz-infused dream pop with a sense of escapism and tongue-in-cheek attitude while always aspiring for a sense of timelessness and analogue feel. Drawing inspiration from a multitude of genres the most influential are 1970s-80s Funk, Disco, boggie, Classic rock, Latin rhythms and Afropop. Recent singles has got support from the likes of Dancing Astronaut, thissongissick.com and many more, and has really started the lounge packed nu-disco world to take notice of his arrival to the party.

After the release of his 'Tropical Suite Pt.1' in the end of 2020 Glamour Hammer followed that with collabs. and remixes from the likes of French electronic disco mastermind YUKSEK and internationally acclaimed EDM-producer Oliver Nelson, who both remixed his work. The single 'Is It True' was also part of the compilation Too Slow To Disco presents: Modern Daytime Disco released by City Slang (non-exclusive license) alongside ie. Kraak & Smaak, Poolside, Prep, Yuksek, Luxxury. This was followed by a couple of new singles leading to his Tropical Suite, Pt. 2 EP released earlier this spring, which included the phenomenal original version of the track Jungle of Love Pt 2. 

Glamour Hammer's single 'Stay With Me' has had an amazing year after being licensed and used in the new Joachim Trier movie 'The Worst Person In The World' which was Oscar nominated, listed among Barack Obamas top movie of the year 2021 and main actress Renate Reinsve was Awarded 'Best Actress' in Cannes for her role. This was Triers last film in his Oslo trilogy and it's about a women named Julie  whom is struggling to find her place in the world. The soundtrack of the movie also feature artists like Prins Thomas, Turbonegro, Harry Nilsson, Todd Rundgren etc.
