Founded by sonic architect and explorer Robert Raths aka ghostworker in 2007, Erased Tapes is a truly independent record label that has disrupted the industry and rejuvenated the musical landscape. The London-based label has consistently nurtured genre-defying artists from all around the world without losing its avant-garde ethos.

2015 saw BBC 6 Music radio presenter Mary Anne Hobbs stage an Erased Tapes evening featuring Nils Frahm and A Winged Victory For The Sullen at the Royal Albert Hall as part of the prestigious BBC Prom. It was the fastest selling ticket of the entire season. Shortly after Erased Tapes was awarded Best Small Label 2015 at the AIM Awards.

On February 5th 2017 Erased Tapes opened the doors to its new East London home, marking the 10th anniversary by introducing fans and the public to the new Erased Tapes Sound Gallery.

Established in 1992, the Ward Irish Music Archives houses the largest public collection of Irish music in America. It is named after John J. Ward Jr., father of Irish Fest founder Ed Ward. The archive currently consists of more than 40,000 Irish music recordings and pieces of memorabilia ranging from rare 78 rpm's, LP's and sheet music to song books, instruments, and concert memorabilia. Many of the archives items are extremely difficult to find today, and our diverse collections focus on subjects such as Irish traditional music, Irish folk songs, Scottish music, and Irish contributions to American popular music.

In May of 2005, Scott Lehrer and I opened up 2nd Story Sound, a recording studio we built in an old industrial building on the Lower East Side of New York City. StorySound Records has grown, naturally enough, out of the social and professional life of that studio - the sessions, the pantry hangs, the players and producers, engineers and arrangers, composers, singers and songwriters that are part of my daily life here. The label has no grander ambition than to make a good home for music that I care about.

He also has a band called THE NEURONS with ex Ray Charles arranger David Hoffman.  His album IMAGININGS won best Cont. Instr album of 2015. SLEEP THE DREAMING FLUTE won Native Flute Album of the year at The Zone Music Awards in New Orleans in 2013.

Yes, I spelled that correctly. This isn’t a podcast about “fairies,” as most of you know them. This is about the Radical Faeries, a global movement of queer spiritualists—LGBT (and some cis-straight people) searching for the spirit that lies inside their sexual identities.

In this series, I get to know the Radical Faeries of Vermont. Join me as I attempt to understand their lives and lifestyles. I found their stories illuminating for me, as a gay man. I hope they will be for you also, whatever and whoever you are.
