Fritt efter en väg is a musical interpretation of the six dala paintings found in "The Heavenly Play" written by Rune Lindström.
A distinctive feature of these tableaux is the mixture of biblical motifs and the rural everyday life of people in the Swedish countryside.
This peculiar confusion of imagination and reality is something that has inspired Strulgattu & Meierkord, where extraterrestrial and cosmic sounds are blended with earthy and organic ones.
Together this trio makes melancholic and cinematic soundscapes inspired by the rural lifestyle around lake Siljan.

¡Escúchame, Cabrón! is a limited-edition C50 cassette announced for pre-order on International Women's Day and made up exclusively of female artists or groups and collaborations featuring a strong female presence.

The purpose of the release is to bring to light, in our own small way, the systemic violence and oppression of women in Spain and around the world and to highlight the incredible female voices present in industrial and synthwave music today.

Spain is a country close to our hearts. It's a beautiful, historic, energetic and culturally-rich nation. Today, the problems women have to face in a society that is generally a privileged population are completely unnecessary. Problems such as being cross-examined in rape trials, gang rape cases being downgraded to sexual assault and an abundance of domestic violence. An average of one woman in killed by her partner per week.

In 2017 Spanish courts received more than 166,000 gender violence complaints against woman - a 16% increased on the year before. Spain is certainly not an exception. Some national studies show that up to 70 per cent of women have experienced physical and/or sexual violence from an intimate partner in their lifetime.

This is the first  proper album by Dungeon Acid!
 Since we first released his debut 7” in 2010 the man has done a bunch of life changing 12”s and cassettes, always with the rhythm in focus, inspired by early techno and acid House from Chicago and Detroit mainly, we’d say.  
 
The here is now, and the past has been. Jean-Louis Huhta being part of most good things coming out of Sweden since the 80s; from his teen days playing in Cortex and  filthy crust punk with Anticimex and touring the UK in a van with no seats with Napalm Death, to early electronic dance music experiments with Lucky People Centre, ritual rock tribalism with The Skull Defekts, and electro-acoustic sessions with people like Zbigniew Karkowski and CM von Hausswolff. His back catalogue is sick, and great.  
 
But to now. This double vinyl LP is the top of a mountain containing tracks from 2010-2018, contemporary techno aimed at the dance floor filled with skills, personality, warmth, history and future.
