We release Phil Strucks album NNO on February 23.

Phil is a experimental recording artist, who also works as a photographer, documenting the contemporary, experimental electronic music scene and life around it. His music is based on sampling from odd sound sources, random data streams and the usage of microphones and various synthesizer. Phil ennobles the trivial, honors the silence and creates an experimental collection of raw textural ambiance. It could’ve been a matter of trompe-l’oeil, a mere juxtaposition of audio signs to mimic functionality, but there’s a much more vibrant and fluid quality to his mind-expanding pieces. He is living in Hamburg, Germany.

Mourning Dove - I Don't Know

Birdcast no.26 is by @lindalazarov - a Finnish deejay and selector. Owing much to early electro-industrial explorations and Detroit’s afro-futurist underwater mythos, Helsinki-based Linda Lazarov has been striving to diversify and challenge. Having co-founded Electronic Market collective and played records at local clubs Kaiku, Ääniwalli and Post Bar as well as venues across Europe, her ambition is to weave sonic matter together to uncover shrouded emotions and invite presence of mind. Conducting experiments without compromising danceability, her search for synergy forms a balance between stark and soothing soundscapes.

In her own words, in regards this mix: "my comfort at the outskirts of institutionalised forces is tied to an (illusory) ability to reimagine, test, fail, be furious and frail. i tend to have an unnerving attention to detail but wanted to let this one take me to places instead". Sit back and deep-dive into some stark Northern waters.
