Welcome to Episode 139 on Poisonoise Music with the session seeing the return of one of my all- time favourite artists Tom Larson.

BIO / LINKS :
Tom was born on October 24, 1979 in Sonneberg. At the age of 16 he discovered his love for electronic music. At that time he was inspired by music sets of Richie Hawtin, Karotte and many other artists.He also had a big interest in spinning records.
Tom began to create Mixes... He put on records in many reputable locations in his homeland and at numerous radio stations like Sputnik Radio for example. He convinced lots of parties with his ingenious DJ Skills and also wants to convince you. For Tom electronic music is just timeless.

Hello hello! Wir melden uns zurück mit einer wunderbaren neuen Rundfahrt 🙂 @mira_vana sitzt hinterm Lenker und heizt uns während dieser eisigen Kälte richtig ein, damit die Fahrt so angenehm und schön wie möglich wird!

Begonnen hat ihre musikalische Reise in Ulm, wo sie ihre ersten Gigs in Läden wie dem Gleis44 oder der Apotheke feiern durfte und nach und nach immer tiefer in die Welt  des Auflegens gerutscht ist. Und die Begeisterung dafür ist kaum überhörbar in ihren Sets, sie zieht sich wie ein wohl angeordneter roter Faden durch ihre Musik und versetzt die Leute immer wieder in eine Art musikalische Trance!
Natürlich hat das Auflegen nicht ganz gereicht und sie hat sich weiter schlau gemacht im Bereich des Producings, wo sie vor Kurzem ihr Debut-Release mit dem Track „Alora Que“ bei Laut & Luise feiern durfte 🙂 Unbedingt mal auschecken!

Mittlerweile hat sie ihr Weg nach Halle geführt, wo sie als Resident-DJ bei @easy-tiger-jena die Knöpfe dreht und für mit Spaß gefüllten Tanzflächen sorgt!

Mira, danke danke für das schöne Set! Wir drücken dich und dir die Daumen dass alles gut läuft und freuen uns jedesmal, wenn wir dich zu Gesicht bekommen! Sei es verbunden mit einem Auftritt oder einfach zum abhängen und austauschen 🙂

Was war nur passiert? Zwischen den letzten Tanzschritten im Club und dem Erwachen im Bett fehlen einige Sequenzen des frühen Morgens. Ich fühlte mich, als hätte mich das MIB „Geblitzdingst“. So sehr ich mich auch konzentrierte, die einzelnen Puzzleteile ließen sich nicht zu einer erhellenden Erinnerung zusammensetzen. Mein Verstand wehrte sich vehement mir die Wahrheit über die verlorenen Stunden preiszugeben. Als wäre eine Barriere direkt in mein Hirn gepflanzt wurden. All die erzwungenen Gedanken führten zu stechenden Kopfschmerz. Ich ließ mich zurück ins Bett fallen und versuchte mich vom Wunsch der Rekonstruktion zu befreien.
In diesem Moment realisierte ich wieder die rote Kapsel an meinem Arm. Ich bin mir sicher, dass ich sie vor dem Betreten des Clubs abgeben musste. Der Türsteher bestand darauf und faselte etwas von Gefahr durch unkontrollierte Hitzeentwicklung. Wie kann es sein, dass sich die Kapsel nun wieder an meinem Arm befindet. War ich vielleicht nach dem Clubbesuch noch auf einem ComRa Eevent? Habe ich dort die verlorenen Stunden verbracht? Realistisch betrachtet wäre dies eher nicht möglich gewesen. Ich hatte nicht mehr genug Geld bei mir, um mir den Eintritt zu diesem überteuerten Event leisten zu können. Zudem schaute ich das letzte Mal gegen 5 Uhr auf mein Handy. ComRa Veranstaltungen laufen normalerweise nur bis 6 Uhr. Was war also passiert?

3 QUESTIONS to YUBIK:

Q: Tell us more about your mix please. How did these pearls find the way to your ears once?

A: Deep waves are the basic structure of a song. It is only through them that the musical work of art finds its perfection. Over time, some of these works of art will accompany you and broaden your musical horizons. While some songs give me inspiration to work on my own songs, others help me relax and offer me the contrast in order to feel free and make room for new thoughts. For this reason I tried to find a mix of the dynamic range between slow and fast. The people around you and the places where you are play a big role in answering the question of how these special pearls made it into my set. Isn't it always the case that the music that stays in your head is always connected to something? For example: a feeling or a memory, a past moment, it can be anything. So everyone tells their own story. And that's mine.

Q: Would you still play some of them inside your sets?

A: Most of these songs are well suited for a spherical warm up set. So if the situation is right, why not.

Q: Which future Yubik projects are currently in the making?

A: I am currently working intensively in the studio. There is still a new release on the label "Atlant" in the first quarter and I am sure that 2020 will still provide some surprises. With this in mind, thank you to Marc DePulse for the opportunity to be part of this wonderful format.

The kick-off volume here started as a 60 minute mix at first and ended up clocking around 75 by the time I finished. It features some very well known producers such as Netsky, Lenzman and Command Strange, as well as some up and coming or not so well known ones such as nCamargo, Grinda, Galimatias and Transfa to name a few. LiquidMotions - Vol. 11 [- ideal noise -]

Music is my therapy ...It all started with being mesmerized listening to the hypnotic beat of Kraftwerk’s “Trans Euro Express” on a tiny cassette player at a very young age and it continues to this day at an age when I have to worry about “more important” things in life.

This page is an attempt in getting back to mixing some favorite tunes and documenting my ever changing moods and tastes. Any and all comments are welcome and much appreciated.
